"Felix! Stop!"
However, Lucien was too late. Felix was staring at Roderick burning in rage with a trembling Elise hiding behind his huge frame.
Felix stormed into the room, his eyes blazing with fury. The intensity of his presence hit Elise like a wave, forcing her to step back even though her instincts screamed to stand her ground.
He was tall, broad-shouldered, with long, unruly black hair that framed his sharp, angular face. His amber eyes… burning with a mix of rage and something else as they immediately locked onto Roderick.
"HOW DARE YOU!" Felix roared again, ignoring Lucien's attempts to stop him. "This room was hers! No one… no one… should ever set foot in it again. Especially not her!"
Roderick flinched, his usual calm composure cracking for the briefest moment. He opened his mouth to speak, but Felix didn't give him the chance. He strode forward, his fists clenched at his sides, his steps echoing ominously in the room.
