Chapter 40 - The land of Mandud

Cardcrow opens a portal and asks Gojo to jump first . Gojo jumps without hesitating. (The confidence of Gojo you know)

Cardcrow jumps into it next closing the portal

As Gojo and Cardcrow stepped through the shimmering portal, they found themselves in a place that defied all earthly logic. This was the Realm of Mystra, a domain where the natural laws of their world held no sway. The air was thick with an ethereal mist that sparkled like stardust, casting a soft, otherworldly glow on everything it touched.

Before them stretched an endless forest of towering trees, whose bark gleamed with a silvery sheen and whose leaves shimmered in iridescent hues of blue, green, and violet. The trees seemed to whisper secrets as a gentle breeze rustled through their branches, creating a haunting melody that lingered in the air.

The ground beneath their feet was covered in a carpet of luminescent moss, which glowed with a soft, pulsing light with every step they took. Strange, bioluminescent flowers bloomed in clusters, their petals unfurling to reveal intricate patterns that shifted and changed as though alive. The air was filled with the sweet, intoxicating scent of these blossoms, mingling with the crisp aroma of the forest.

In the distance, a majestic waterfall cascaded down from an impossibly high cliff, its waters sparkling like liquid crystal as they tumbled into a serene, mirror-like lake. The lake's surface was so still it seemed to hold the reflection of the entire realm, creating an illusion of an upside-down world beneath its depths.

Strange and wondrous creatures roamed the landscape. Luminescent butterflies fluttered through the air, leaving trails of light in their wake. Ethereal deer with antlers that glowed like moonbeams grazed on the glowing moss, their eyes reflecting the mystical light of the realm.

Overhead, the sky was a swirling canvas of colors, with no discernible sun or moon. Instead, the skys were painted in a kaleidoscope of shifting hues, as if the very fabric of the cosmos had been woven together in a tapestry of light and shadow.

Gojo and Cardcrow stood in awe, their senses overwhelmed by the beauty and mystery of Mystra. This was a place where magic thrived in its purest form, where every element seemed to pulse with an ancient, otherworldly energy. They knew that whatever adventures awaited them in this enchanting realm, the journey would be unlike anything they had ever experienced.

Gojo's eyes widened as he took in the eerie atmosphere of the mansion. Cobwebs clung to the chandeliers, and shadows danced across the walls like living things. He felt a shiver run down his spine, but his curiosity got the better of him.

"This place is incredible," Gojo said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I've never seen anything like it."

Cardcrow raised an eyebrow. "You're not here to sightsee, Gojo. We need to focus on rescuing your friends."

"We now need to cross this place and reach the land of MUNDUD . Things may not be really beautiful there. " said cardcrow
