Chapter 13 - Connecting to Solitude

Althea's eyes narrowed. "What incident?"

The nurse glanced around nervously before leaning in close. "To be honest, miss, we're not entirely sure. The police are still investigating. But it seems like you and your friend were involved in some kind of...altercation."

Althea's grip on the bedsheet tightened. She knew exactly what had happened. And she knew they weren't safe yet.

Gojo's eyes fluttered closed, his mind trapped in a dreamlike state. He relived the moments in the hospital, the creature's twisted grin, Althea's fading form...

But as he remembered, something changed. The creature's laughter faltered, its eyes widening in shock.

A flash of light burst forth from Gojo's body, illuminating the darkened hospital. The creature stumbled back, its form wavering.

"No...it can't be..." the doctor whispered, his voice trembling.

Gojo's eyes snapped open, his gaze blazing with intensity. He laughed maniacally, the sound echoing through the hospital.

"You should have killed me when you had the chance," Gojo spat, his voice dripping with venom.

With a swift motion, Gojo summoned his signature move - Hollow Purple. The creature tried to defend itself, but Gojo's power was too great.

The Hollow Purple struck true, obliterating the creature and the hospital. The building crumbled, its dark magic dissipating into the air.

Gojo fell, his body exhausted. But he smiled, knowing he had won.

His fellow teammates rushed to his side, relief etched on their faces. "Gojo! Oh man, we were so worried!"

Althea stirred, her eyes fluttering open. "Gojo...?"

Gojo's smile widened. "I'm here, Althea. We're safe now."

Together, they were lifted into the air, carried away from the ruins of the cursed prison. The doctor's monologues still echoed in Gojo's mind, a reminder of his true power.

"You are the key to unlocking the secrets of the universe...Your power is beyond human comprehension...You are the chosen one..."

Gojo's eyes closed, his heart still racing from the battle. He knew that this was only the beginning.
