" Its poison Kenny", said Grace. " I am not confused".
" I trust you", replied Kenny.
" I am scared", Shai was honest with her.
" Me too but not for anyone else but them", said Myra. " They have a lot of anger in them. Its justified but still they can't..", she couldn't complete.
" We will try to find out but quietly. Its clear they won't tell us", said Kenny.
" If I could just beat the sh*t out of them to get them talking", said Kiara. " But no they are seasoned in that sh*t".
There were tears in Grace's eyes.
" We've been intimate", she confessed.
" Oh darling", Shai hugged her.
" Wedding nostalgia and all that closeness, dance, the talk about our lives. I told him about my father and Dom. He told me about Lisa". She started sobbing. " It happened".
" That does not diminshes your virtue", Shai was angry.
" I have a plan", said Kenny.
She told the girls her plan.
" Bingo", said Kiara. " Time to teach them a lesson".
Meanwhile
" Raj this is going to create problems between us", said Maddy.
" I love her", Ro confessed. " We.we were..like.."
" Yo b*st*rd", said Maddy. " You slept with her".
" Yes so", Ro was confrontational. " Did you miss that I love her"?
" When did it happen", asked Maddy wickedly.
" Wedding", replied Ro shyly.
" Guys we are discussing a fight here", said Parry.
" Difference of opinion not fight", said Raj.
" Remain in your bubble", retorted Ro.
" Well he speaks for us Ro. You know how dangerous all this is", said Solly. " Do you want her exposed to what we are already?"
Of course none of them wished girls exposed to that.
At that moment the meeting room opened and Queens walked out.
" Back to work girls", said Kenny calmly. The girls started working.
Solly heaved a sigh of relief. " So its fine", he said.
" They knew contract binds them", smirked Raj.
" Just like that. Impossible. I smell something fishy here", said Parry.
" Guess we will find out", said Maddy.
And they did....
The girls worked in suffocating silence. No flirting, no gossip.not even small talks, no banter, no fights..like the men did not exist or were non living beings.
Then...
Maddy was drinking tea deliberately slurping it loudly to get a reaction from Kiara. She politely ignored. After some time she collected the cups and said, " Mr. Shashtri its a request not to disturb me during tea break.Excuse me for inconvenience".
" WHAT"? He stood open mouthed.
Later he told to others,
" Dude she did not even curse or said me to put my stuff in my mouth. Ever so polite Kiara. I wish for death ".
" Mr. Gupta Red and yellow jump suit is a bit out of my range but if it suits you you are welcome", replied Myra as Parry suggested it.
" She did not even call me a joker", sulked Parry.
Shai just seemed scared of Solly. She would back off in fear when he was near. It pained him a lot. What have I done to get this reaction he thught?
Kenny was professional and polite. Grace refused to talk to Ro and communicated in notes.
One day old king Randheer visited them.
" Hey grandpa", Raj hugged him. He even talked easily to his friends.
" So how is it working Kenny", asked the king.
" Perfect", she replied.
" Don't you think if Raj marries a girl from India the public will accept him more as king", said the retired king.
" Yeah why not. Do you want me to look for girls", she said with a straight face.
Raj s*cked in a breath.
Does it not affect her?
" I rather would ask him if he likes someone", asked the king.
" Grandpa I..", he was saying.
" Then its a private matter sir in which Queens shall not interfere", said Kenny." Our duty is to put him on that throne. We will even cheer for the new queen".
She felt the pain of thousand thorns in her body. But she stood tall and strong. A professional who does her work sincerely.
By Friday the men were fed up.
" I never thought I will say this but until Kiara calls me sl*t or manwh*re my days are dull", said Maddy.
" And mine without arguing with Ms. Kapoor over socks, pyjamas, shoes and underw*ars", said Parry.
" I can't believe they think we can murder someone in cold blood", said Solly. Shai's scared face haunted him.
" BLAME THIS ASSH*LE", bellowed Ro pointing finger at Raj.
" Ya right blame me", said Raj."Because I think of theirr safety. Currently they work for us. And are already in danger. We like them too. Thats strike two. Then let them in on our dangefous plan. What will happen then"?
They all were silent.
" We can offer olive branch", said Parry.
" How", asked Solly.
" Invite them for a drink or two. Lower their defences. Talk our way around it", said Maddy.
" Work our charm", smirked Raj.
Ro was not hopeful. Raj was underestimating Kenny. She was a hard nut to crack.
" Okay", he just said.
Evening
Raj gathered the team and praised everyone. Then he said. " Nice work Queens. Our association is coming about quite well. Lets celebrate this week with drinks and snacks. Pizza everyone and beer."
" Only if you are ready to talk", said Kenny.
" Oh we can talk", he said mischievously "And do a lot other things", He winked.
" She meant the poison", said Kiara smiling creepily at Raj.
" Oh come on its just some unimportant research stuff", he lied.
" I know you are lying", said Kenny.
" Kenny look I don't want.."
" You don't want me to find out anything about yourself prince. Because the real face you hide behind that charming facade is ugly. You are plotting something big. NOW I AM SCARED FOR LIVES.. Grandpa, Queen, twins and my father", she said.
" Are you done? I am offering peace here", said Raj.
" Thanks but no. We have plans for the weekend your highness. Goodbye. See you Monday morning."
She curtsied and left her team following her.
Raj stood in silence for sometime. It was eerie.
" WHAT DOES SHE THINK OF HERSELF", he hissed.
The men now knew he was angry. His eyes have frozen . So was his heart.
" I humbled myself for her. I actually offered peace to that stooge Rahul. She insults me in front of everyone. Then she lets my brother maul her in public, goes to a party as his plus one, breaks up with me , keeps unnecessary conditions on love, wants me to marry someone else..And now ..For this she walks out on me.."
" Calm down Raj", said Ro. He realised Raj was going to harm someone.
Raj smiled devilishly.
" Oh but I am so calm my friend. Solly find out their plans for weekend", he said.
" What are you upto", asked Maddy.
" We are crashing their party", he said.
" Time to teach her a lesson"...
