The next day Shitsuya woke up and met up with the rest of his team.
Shitsuya noticed Hana staring at him from the side but ignored her as he listened to the hung over Shikane's plan.
"The bandits are staying in a cabin in the forest, there's around 10 of them. They have a couple of swords probably scavenged from a nearby battlefield."
"They have 3 hostages so we'll need to save them."
"I'll start by using the shadow possession Jutsu, the rest of you will finish them off. We move quickly and decisively. Any questions?" Shikane said as he looked around.
Hana raised her hand and Shikane nodded at her.
"I think Shitsuya should sit this one out, he's still young so he might not be comfortable with killing." Hana voiced her concerns.
Shikane looked at Shitsuya and asked, "Do you want to opt out of the mission?"
"I'll be fine." Shitsuya said.
"Alright that settles it." Shikane said.
"No!" Hana shouted.
"Look, Hana, I get where you're coming from but this is part of being a shinobi." Shikane spoke.
"I agree, if Shitsuya is okay with it then it's fine." Naga chimed in.
"Looks like it's 3 to 1 vote. That settles it." Shikane spoke.

Deep in the forest, they arrived near the cabin and stalked it from behind the tree line.
Shitsuya felt 13 presences inside the cabin, it was still early morning so all of them were lying down and sleeping.
Communicating with his teammates with hand signs, Shitsuya drew his blade and wrapped it in chakra.
Shikane weaved a few handsigns and his shadow extended towards the cabinet before going through a window.
Making a sign that confirmed that everyone inside was under his control, Shitsuya and his two remaining teammates dashed towards the cabin.
Naga with his superior speed was the first to arrive as he jumped through the glass window shattering it and punched a sleeping bandit's head right off his shoulder as it exploded.
Shitsuya was the second to arrive, jumping inside through the broken window before he started cutting heads off of the bandits while avoiding the three naked and bruised girls who were obviously the hostages.
By the time Hana arrived all the targets were eliminated. Three killed by Naga and seven by Shitsuya who had an easy time due to having a sword.

While taking the girls back, Shikane asked "So, how do you feel about your first kill."
"Like throwing Kunai at a barrel full of ducks." Shitsuya said. The task was far easier than he expected.
"Don't you feel like you wanna throw up?" Hana said, she found Shitsuya's cold attitude after causing such a blood bath concerning.
Shitsuya understood her thoughts and not wanting to be precieved as some sort heartless person he gave a good excuse.
"Were they good people?" Shitsuya asked.
Looking at the condition of the girls who they were carrying Hana shook her head and said "No."
"Then it was the right thing to do, good people don't have ninja's sent to hunt them down." Shitsuya said.
Shikane shook his head at the naiveté of both his students but said nothing.
"Still-"
"I'll be fine, although I'm still young I'm also a Shinobi." Shitsuya interrupted Hana and said with a smile.
Hana nodded.

The next mission was not taken by Shikane but was assigned to him by the Hokage.
As the war was escalating, they were sent to join up with one of the military camps oin the border between the land of Fire and Rain.
As the land of rain shared borders with three of the five great nations and was close to the other two, it saw a large amount of battles faught on it.
If not for Hanzo of the Salamander being a large deterrent force, the Rain village would would have been completely destroyed by the frequent battles fought on it.
Shitsuya was given only one day to prepare before he head out.
Although he wasn't thrilled at the prospect of risking his life for the village, he had no choice in the matter.
After stocking up on consumables like Shuriken and Kunai, Shitsuya said his goodbyes to Minato and his family.
Minato wished him a safe journey, his mother cried and his grandmother gifted him a nice sword.
It was a more traditional Katana made from high quality metal.
Mitsuki didn't seem to care but before Shitsuya left Mitsuki knocked him on the forehead and turned around and left leaving only a few words behind.
"Be careful."
Shrugging his shoulder at Mitsuki's weird gesture, Shitsuya left without giving much thought.
Heading back inside. Mitsuki had his left eye closed as he walked to a descret part of the house before making a handsign which made one of the floor boards moved revealing a hidden staircase.
Walking down below the house, Mitsuki moved past a large collection of weapons and armours before stopping Infront of a tank full of light green coloured liquid.
Inside the liquid floated a few Sharingan. Opening his left eye which had turned white, Mitsuki dug it out and fished out one of the Sharingan from inside the tank.
Finding the right one, he used it to replace his blinded one.
Activating his eyes, both spun before the three tomoe inside them merged to form a three black rings that surrounded his pupil.
Although Mitsuki's eyes were impressive, looking through them, Mitsuki's vision was very blurry.
In these past few years he had used his left eye repeatedly to ensure his descendants safety.
Mitsuki's Mangekyo Sharingan which he awakened at the age of 20 gave him two unique abilities.
His right eye could glimpse up to ten seconds into the future, this allowed him to survive through both the warring states era and the first Shinobi war.
His left eye could allow him to see a person's fate. He used this ability to save his wife and sons from death a few times.
Recently, when he used it to look at Shitsuya, Shitsuya looked like mangled corps missing several limbs.
Due to this, Mitsuki had no choice but to use his secret stash to give Shitsuya a hand.
[A/N: Is literally anyone surprised that Mitsuki has a Mangekyo and an Obito style secret stash of Sharingans?]
