"Martin is still downstairs. I'll just grab my things and leave." Ava walked to the dressing table, opened the drawer and picked up the diary. She accidentally saw the skin care products thrown in the trash can beside her, and couldn't help wondering how it got there.
"That bottle seems to be running low, so I threw it away. You can use this one." Noticing that Ava's eyes were fixed on the trash can, Yasmin walked over, picked up a bottle of La Prairie Platinum Rare Cream from the dressing table and handed it to her.
What was thrown away was Estee Lauder lotion, which was at least 10 times less expensive than La Prairie cream. Was she being so generous to show off her extravagant spending?
"No, I'm done anyway. Thanks anyway." Ava didn't press the matter and walked out with the diary. She just wanted to embarrass her by taking the initiative.
