Fiona's POV
The morning sun streamed through the curtains, casting golden light across the room. I stirred awake, feeling Sebastian's strong arm wrapped around my waist. His warmth was a welcome comfort, and for a moment, I let myself enjoy the peace of the moment.
"Morning, my love," Sebastian murmured, his voice still husky with sleep.
"Morning," I replied, turning to face him. His dark hair was tousled, and his eyes were soft, holding none of the hardness that usually came with his Alpha duties.
"Did you sleep well?" he asked, his fingers trailing lazy circles on my back.
"I did," I said, smiling. "Surprisingly, after everything yesterday."
Sebastian chuckled. "Let's not talk about Sabrina or the ceremony today. We deserve at least one day to ourselves, don't you think?"
I raised an eyebrow. "A whole day? Are you sure the Alpha King can manage that?"
