Sebastian pov
I walked into the blue moon pack house where the Alpha stays and attended a meeting. Leo and my shadow guards behind me. I pushed the door to the throne room open, surprising the elders and Ryan who sat in the throne room.
"Alpha Sebastian? What's going on? This is a private meeting. Ryan glares at me as I always take every opportunity to undermine his authority.
"Alpha Ryan" I walked to the table, drew out a chair and sat down. "I don't care about your meeting. My mate is on the hospital bed, because she was attacked on your territory and nothing has been done yet"
"The rogue is being held in the cells, it…." but before he could complete his statement I interrupted him.
"Those rogues were caught by my guards, mind you,the leader escaped. The question I asked you in the hospital, I would ask you again in front of the elders. How were they able to get in and out of your territory?" My voice filled with venom ready to spit out.
The elders turned their attention to Ryan, obviously still waiting to answer also.
"You won't come in here to undermine my authority and security team" Ryan hits the table in anger but I remain unfazed.
I continued with my questions "or was there someone with a high authority who planned it? And why did they go after My mate, who was your rejected mate and the most hated person?" I hit the nail on the head, Ryan growled loudly, trying to subdue me with the Alpha's roar.
The elders and my shadow guards bowed in respect, but Leo and I remained unfazed by it. I looked at him, calm and precise.
"You won't come into my territory, accusing and insulting me and Luna" Ryan warned and I smirked at the warning.
"I need to speak to your Luna. I have a couple of questions for her." I made the request without being unfazed with his show of authority.
He glared at me, as I sat comfortably waiting for his next move.
"Call the Luna" he turned and commanded the guards, who bowed and walked out to get Sabrina.
For the next few minutes, Ryan and I stared at each other. The hatred between us is so obvious. Just then the door opened and Sabrina walked in, her head held high with pride. She walked past me, walking directly to Ryan.
"My king" she bowed to Ryan
"My Queen" Ryan replied to her greetings, "you are being called here for questioning about the attack on Alpha Sebastian's mate." Ryan updated her. She turns towards me, with a smirk.
"Alpha Sebastian" she bowed slightly, I observed her closely.
"Sabrina" I called out and everyone was shocked with the way I called her without her title. A hint of anger flashed through her eyes but she immediately composed, but I noticed it as my eyes had not left her since she walked in.
"Where were you yesterday during the ceremony?" I asked
"I was attending to the guests. As the Luna of this strong pack with an excellent leader who happens to be my mate, I was fulfilling my duties as the Luna" She said with a straight face
"I also have perfect alibis" She said to strengthen her claims
"And who are they?" Ryan asked
"Oh my king, the servants of course. They can all attest to the fact that I was coordinating the entire time" She replied Ryan with a smile.
Ryan looked back to me with a mocking smile, "Any more questions, Sebastian?" He asked
"That would be all," I replied.
"Great, you are dismissed My Queen" he placed a kiss on her hands,she smiled and walked out of the room.
"Alpha Sebastian, are you done with your interrogation?" Ryan asked
"I sympathize with you but what happened here should never repeat itself. If it was a common person, that would count as treason" Ryan warned
I smile, stood up from my chair " I will take my leave now"
I walked out of the room with the whispers of the elders filling my ears.
We were out of the room "Leo!"
"Your highness"
"Keep an eye on Sabrina, she wouldn't be lucky all the time"
"I will your highness"
We walked to the hospital as my body ached to be close to Fiona.
Sabrina's pov
I was summoned to the meeting room by Ryan and Sebastian. He suspected me but my plan was carried out perfectly with no loose end except the rogues in the basement.
Victor walked in and I looked at him for the information.
"She is awake and the baby is safe also" he informed me
"Fuck" I picked up a glass cup and threw it at the wall, screaming.
"What about the leader?" I turned to ask him
"He got out safely and he assured me that the rouges captured know nothing about the transaction"
"Okay, okay....we can't kill them because it will raise more suspicions from Sebastian. Victor, keep an eye on Sebastian. He is onto me and I can feel it."
"Yes your highness"
"You are dismissed." Victor walks out. I walked to the balcony to get air and calm myself. Once again my plan ended up as a failed plan again.
Fiona was one lucky bitch, but she can't be lucky all the time and one of these days she won't be lucky.
Ryan's pov
I sat in the throne room, my mind racing about the child that Fiona carried. The doctor said the child was three weeks old.
We slept together during that period before I banished her. What if it was my child she was carrying? Is that why I could hear the baby's heartbeat?
"If it is my child, then Sebastian would raise the child as his own." I thought to myself.
"No, I can't let that happen. I need answers and I need it fast before my child is raised by Sebastian."
I got up and made my way to the hospital for answers.
