Sabrina's Pov
"Sabrina, I have some news," he said, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
"Speak," I said to him.
"So…Lila just sent word. Sebastian and Fiona have heard about your escape and they are making moves to stop you." He gave out the details.
"Hmmm… I see." His face fell, I think he wanted me to be excited about it.
"Hmmm…sure. I will just take my leave." He turned to leave, his head hung down low.
I exhaled, "Stop…."
He turned back to me with a puzzled look "Is there a problem or did you want me to run an errand for you?"
"No" I stood up and walked towards him, "I do want you to stay with me."
I held his hands and walked back to the couch, where we sat. I could feel how nervous he was but I said nothing. Victor was my mate but I had pushed him away for way too long. I admire how loyal he is but I need to get my goals before I can talk about our future.
