Fiona's POV
The following morning, sunlight poured through the large windows of our quarters, illuminating the tension that had settled in my chest overnight. Despite Sebastian's reassurances, I couldn't shake the lingering unease from our encounter with Sabrina. Her cryptic words still echoed in my mind.
I sat at the edge of the bed, pulling on my boots, when a soft knock on the door startled me.
"Come in," I called, glancing up.
Marcus stepped inside, his sharp features drawn into a frown. "Sorry to interrupt, Alpha, Luna. I thought you'd want to know—Sabrina met with the Moonlight Pack's elders early this morning. No one seems to know why."
Sebastian, who had been buttoning his shirt, stilled for a moment before turning to face Marcus. "She's making her moves earlier than expected," he said, his tone calm but laced with irritation.
