The butler brought out an object to the centre of the room on a metal plate, it was an old leather boot.
'A Portkey?' Loki recognised as did the other people in the room.
Everyone gathered around the portkey and placed their fingers on the item as it began to produce an audible *hum* like it was being possessed.
Around ten people were in the room, including Loki and the Flamels, so it was a little tight but they managed.
The *hum* only grew louder and the last thing Loki saw was the butler looking at his watch and nodding at Nicholas.
The world spun on its end as Loki felt someone grab him by his navel and twist his whole body around it, stuffing it into a tight pipe.
He felt like he was turned into a noodle and was being slurped.
With a sudden jerk, Loki found himself thrust upon the grassy floor as he almost literally ate dirt.
Getting up with a little effort Loki looked around himself and spotted he was the only one who'd fallen, nearly all the others were walking down invisible stairs in the air as they casually landed beside Loki.
Fleur walked upto Loki and with a proud *hmpf* turned away, Loki could swear he heard her say 'loser'. And he was half sure she did because Prenelle behind him was trembling.
Nicholas pat Loki's back and spoke in a hushed whisper, "It's alright boy. Everyone has their faults. Don't worry about it."
"..." Loki deadpanned but quickly put the slight annoyance behind himself as he looked on at the hordes of tents and wizards camping in the grounds in front of him.
"This is huge.." Loki whistled.
"It is." Fawley said, "It's bigger than the last time. Make sure you follow us and don't get lost."
"Ha! I'm not a little kid that I'll get lost so easily."
Fawley just smiled and looked away while Nicholas and Prenelle who were wearing disguises took the lead to guide them to their tent through all the rush.
Their tent looked like a normal circus tent from the outside, but once Loki stepped inside he found it to be remarkably large.
'I need to learn the undetectable space extension charm sooner than later, it's bound to be helpful…'
There were thirty rooms in the tent, not including the living room, a kitchen and several bathrooms.
Nicholas and Prenelle went to their rooms as did most other mentors and their students, Loki was eventually left alone in the living room with Fleur.
He walked up to her and spoke, "Hey loser, how you doing?"
Fleur turned around and glared at him without speaking.
Looking away from Loki, Fleur went back to using her spirituality to engrave runes on the mirror-like charm she was making.
'I mean she is a Beyonder of the Demoness pathway, but is it alright to make it so obvious? Can't she just pretend to be a really pretty girl?' Loki wondered as he looked at Fleur.
His gaze slowly slipped from her face to the mirror-like charm she was holding and carving runes on.
'A mirror charm? What does it do? reflect damage?'
With nothing else to do, Loki sat down beside Fleur and began to observe how she was making the charm, it felt calm and therapeutic.
Fleur slowly engraved the symbol of the Primordial Demoness into the mirror-like charm as Loki thought back to the knowledge about Runic Spellcasting that Nicholas had taught him about.
'Black magic, huh.'
'So magic connected with the Primordial Demoness would be considered black magic?'
'Is there grey magic?'
'The Goddess of Fortune?'
'What about making a similar system that involves money instead of magic?'
'What if I want to make a bank backed by True Gods, is there anything that'll achieve?'
"Hey, can I try an experiment?" Loki asked as an idea sprouted into his mind while he was looking at Fleur's rune work.
"Huh? You wantz to experiment with my charm?" Fleur asked, a bit taken aback at first, but then she happily extended her hand to Loki.
"I hope you zdie.", Fleur said with a happy smile.
Loki's eyebrows twitched but he took the charm from her hands nonetheless.
He then began inspecting the unfinished charm.
'So it's a silver-plated mirror.'
'Silver is in the 'Evernight' Domain.'
'What will happen if I carve the symbols of concealment into the charm?'
"What does this charm do?" Loki asked Fleur who was eagerly waiting for Loki to blow himself up.
"It is a charm to duplicate me uzing the mirr'or dimension to transfer damage." Fleur patiently explained.
"Hmm…I see. Give me a minute."
Loki wrapped his spirituality around the small piece of mirror and began to study the circuits, then with a quick hand, he began to carve out new smaller runes into the circuits while carving in the mysticism symbols for 'Evernight'.
It took a while, roughly ten minutes, but Loki was soon done and he inspected the charm one final time for any errors.
"Where were you going to test this?" Loki asked Fleur.
"I zo not need to test it. I know my work iz perfect." Fleur said with arrogance while tipping her head back.
Ignoring her arrogance, Loki asked her, "What's the activation word."
"It iz, Doppel."
"Thanks for letting me know."
"You do not need to thank me, I hopes you just zdie."
Loki just shook his head and turned toward the tent's exit, "Let everyone know I'll be back in a few minutes if they ask."
With those words, Loki left the tent and began walking toward the forest that was nearby.
'Hmm…I think I'm far enough.' Loki said once he found himself shrouded by the canopy of ancient and tall trees. He turned around to see if he could spot any part of the camp through the gaps in between the trees, but he couldn't.
Satisfied with his place, Loki did what he had come to do. He poured an abundance of his spirituality into the charm and tossed it away from himself.
"Doppel!" Loki said.
Loki paid close attention to the mirror charm as it was tossed away from him.
The charm swiftly flew away from Loki and expanded into a mirror that continuously pointed at him, but once it reached the apex of its arc, it froze mid-air.
Soundlessly, an ethereal mist escaped the mirror and began to form into Loki.
Loki's eyes narrowed as he paid attention to the form that was taking shape but before anything else could happen, the mist paused pouring out of the mirror.
The culprit of the pausing of the mist was the sombre tune that played in the air. It was the variant slumber charm that Loki had carved onto the experimental charm. It created a soft poem by vibrating spirituality and put its caster to sleep.
And all of a sudden as if a vacuum had formed in its centre the mist began to be sucked back into the mirror, rapidly.
Feeling something bad was about to happen, Loki immediately ducked behind a tree.
And it was good that he did because, in the next moment, he heard a swift *crack* followed by the whistling of wind.
There was a sudden *thud* behind the tree Loki was hiding but to his luck, it held strong and did not collapse on his head.
Peering his head out from behind the tree, Loki looked at the outcome and became stunned.
The palm-sized mirror Loki was just holding had turned into a deadly weapon and become embedded into the tree.
Loki could swear he saw an eye in the mirror looking back at him with anger but it was gone as soon as he blinked.
"I guess there's no grey magic."
"For now."
"And I'm pretty sure the Primordial Demoness hates me now…so no all god trusted banks…yet."
When Loki returned back to the tent they were staying in, Fleur commented in disappointment, "You did not die? How sad. Refund my money then."
"Refund? What if I died? What would you have done then?" Loki asked with an annoyed expression.
"Of course, I would have held a party. But since you are alive I need compensation for you raising my expectations only to have crashed them."
Loki clenched his fist tight and whispered inside his mind, "Calm down Loki, she's just a misguided fool, it's alright."
After handing over one galleon to Fleur, Loki made his way to his room in the tent.
He then set up a wall of spirituality and pulled out a burner and a beaker, along with several other materials required to brew his Sequence 6 Prometheus potion.
The burner was a little special this time since the potion required him to specifically use the flames obtained by burning the branches of an apple tree.
Loki placed the small branches of the apple tree he had collected and placed them inside the burner, before setting them a flame with a near-silent, "Incendio."
With the burner heating the beaker, Loki poured in a hundred drops of Pure Water, then thirty drops of Erkling blood, five Demiguise hairs, seven leaves of a sun tree that bleeds honey, six eggs of a jumping spider, birth tail feather of an Occamy and finally the first mane hair of a Zouwu.
Loki watched as the ingredients all melded with each other and took care to stir them with a glass rod so that they were all completely mixed.
