Judith, now having lost her literal and metaphorical voice, couldn't do anything but stand and watch. She watched as the Tethereds fought to stay away from the Parabeast's mouth and not get trampled by its enormous tail.
Judith, caught between a rock and a hard place, found herself questioning what she should do. She doubted that Qui Lin would listen to her, but felt like there was no other option but to try, because, there literally was not.
But then again, once Judith had taken in -- from this distance -- the power and chaos this Parabeast was unleashing, she couldn't help but feel a sudden fright.
Going down there, her life could be snuffed out in a blink of an eye.
It was then that Judith had remembered, that she was dying.
Once she looked onto the scenery before her very eyes, she felt a deep pain for each Tethered consumed by the Parabeast. Novel or not, these people were real, she could feel it.
And…they had longer lives to live than she did.
With this, she steeled her nerves and rushed down to Qui Lin, who along with the prince, had been struggling to evade the Parabeast's attack.
"Dammit, I'm going to have to transform." Qui Lin had said, before leaping out of the way of the Parabeast's tail attack.
"Qui Lin, don't, let's go with my plan." The prince had said, trying to dissuade Qui Lin from transforming.
A scream erupted when the Parabeast had chomped down on three Tethereds at the same time.
'We're dropping like flies.' Qui Lin had thought.
"I'm doing it." She said, then began to activate the Alkalis for her transformation.
Before she was even allowed to get started, someone yet again had interrupted.
"Stop!" Judith had screamed, drawing both the princes and Qui Lin's attention.
She was still quite a distance away from them, which is why Qui Lin had summoned a vortex under Judith, so she could fall in.
Then Qui Lin had opened another beside her so Judith would emerge from the vortex.
When Judith is flung into the sky, the vortex underneath her had disappeared, so she could fall onto the ground.
"What is it you want slave?!" Qui Lin said to Judith.
"I know what I'm about to say will sound, crazy, but you don't have time to question me or anything else. That is, if you want everyone here to live." Judith had said, leaving Qui Lin to stare at her in contemplation.

On Qui Lin's coordination, she gathered all the Tethereds into a blockade as far away from the Parabeast as possible.
They stood on a small hill made of sand and waited for the Parabeast to approach them. Fear and anxiety had settled in as they continued to watch the Beast close the gap between them by intervals of only seconds.
'Qui Lin, are you sure about this?' The prince asked Qui Lin through a Mind-Link, as he knew what he was about to say would spread unneeded doubt amongst the already frightened Tethereds.
'If this fails, the Parabeast will take us all out in one fell swoop.' The prince continued.
Of course 'us' was a general term the prince had just used, because Qui Lin in her right senses would not let the prince come to any harm whatsoever. Which is the exact reason why she stationed him on the far right of the blockade, whereas the Parabeast was aiming for the middle.
Qui Lin, having heard what the prince had said, failed to come up with an appropriate response.
She turned her sights to her left, where Judith stood, and after staring at Judith who was muttering words to herself, she finally said to the prince.
'One word prince Lee, one word, and I'll abandon all of this and transform this instant.'
Upon hearing this, the prince had taken on a somber demeanor, whilst also feeling a hint of anger lining his thoughts, as he had felt it unfair that Qui Lin would put him in such a position.
So with nothing left to say, he became mute, and prepared himself for the role he was about to play in all of this. If he was even to play any role that is.
The Parabeast was only about ten seconds away, when Judith had told Qui Lin to command the Tethereds to prepare their Alkalis.
Judith kept counting the seconds, as she watched intently the Parabeasts closing in.
Though she watched the Parabeast with an unwavering concentration, she found herself -- just for a moment -- distracted, when she saw in the distance, not too far ahead, several scorpion-like Parabeasts.
It was evident this had to be over as quickly as possible.
Quick was a thing that Judith hadn't realized could take a physical form, until she saw the snake-like Parabeast jumping at them, mouth wide open like a shark the size of a building.
With one quick gasp, Judith had realized just how much she screwed up and at once screamed at the top of her lungs.
"NOW!"
Without Qui Lin's go ahead, the Tethereds -- like a loaded gun just waiting to be fired -- had used their Alkalis to slam into the Parabeast a gravity so heavy, that the part of its body affected by the gravity was almost broken in half.
If this had been the plan, to break the Parabeast with the power of the over exerted gravity, then this would have been a plan that failed spectacularly. Fortunately for everyone present, this was just the first phase.
"Begin the assault!"
Qui Lin screamed, and at once, half of the Tethereds that weren't doing their best to hold the Parabeast down, proceeded to circle the Parabeast and at once had let fire and lightning ripple across the sky and onto the Parabeast, just like before.
Except what had differed from then, was that the Tethereds were not pointlessly firing at the Parabeadt. But instead, were told to direct their blasts to the weakest part of the Parabeast. That being the exposed nostrils.
As the Tethereds relentlessly blasted away, Judith had found herself frozen in place, and also began to breathe hard.
A fear had settled into her, when she realized that she almost got herself killed, she almost got everyone killed.
'You still in one piece girl?' Qui Lin had asked, as she noticed Judith's odd behavior.
'Ye…yes, I'm fine.' Judith spoke, with a voice that barely held itself together.
But that ceased to matter the instant the Parabeast had raised the flaps at the side of its head, so it now resembled a cobra.
'It's time.' Judith said.
