Leaning on a tree, Judith held a piece of stick she had picked up very firmly. She didn't believe it would do much against anyone or anything that was going to harm her, but still, she needed some form of security to calm her jagged mind.
As Judith stood, she ran several things through her head. Like how she still did not believe that this god was Sun Qi's brother, the same god who wanted her dead. But more than that, Judith began to wonder, why he wanted her dead. Also, thinking back on his conversation with the other god, she couldn't help but feel like she was heavily involved in something she didn't understand. And in this moment, she felt like...a pawn.
Soon after arriving at this thought, a beam of light appeared before her. And in a second, the little girl she knew formed out of the light.
Seeing Sun Qi, Judith felt a strange ease which she didn't like. Not now, not after what she began to assume, should it be true.
