Making their way through the field of flowers, they had once again entered the thick of the forest so they were surrounded by trees and foliage. They continued to walk for several hours crossing great distances before the Phoenix had peaked the sky, so that now it was noon and there were Parabeasts prowling about.
Looking ahead, from the height of a tree, Judith and Wukong saw in the path ahead, over a dozen Parabeasts that looked like a cross between a bear, a honey bagger and a tiger. Some of the most deadliest animals combined into a single Parabeast called a Baiger.
"What now?" Wukong had asked, leaning against the tree trunk as he held his rib. Somehow, it felt the pain Wukong was going through only worsened as the hours went by.
Judith turned her sights to Wukong, then she likewise sat on the branch.
"Let's have lunch." Judith said.
