Using his phone, Bochang replied to Stelle that he needed more time and agreed to meet at 5 PM later that afternoon.
With this settled, Bochang continued accompanying Seele on their mission.
Pushing a small cart and carrying backpacks, it took them some time to return to Boulder Town.
Along the way, several Vagrants eyed their supplies covetously.
However...
Relying on the reputation and martial prowess of Wildfire, no one dared to make any aggressive moves against them.
By noon, upon reaching Boulder Town, Seele treated Bochang to a casual meal outside.
Afterward, they delivered the materials Natasha required to her clinic.
Bochang finally met the renowned female doctor of the Underworld, Natasha.
Her elegant light-blue hair was tied in a single horsetail, framing her red eyes. With gently curved brows and slightly downturned corners of her eyes, just from her appearance, one could tell she was a remarkably kind person.
The orphanage in Rivet Town was established by her, and Seele was one of its residents—an orphan raised under Natasha's care.
In essence... Seele is like a child brought up by Natasha herself.
As such, when facing this esteemed doctor, Seele holds deep respect for her.
"Mr. Bochang, it's a pleasure to meet you. I am Dr. Natasha from the Underworld. Seele has already informed me about what happened in Rivet Town; thank you for your assistance at the scene."
Inside the clinic, a tall, mature woman with long light-blue hair stood before Bochang.
Natasha's attire was impeccable: a black leather jacket underneath a flowing white dress. The most striking feature, however, was the prominent "peach of longevity" pendant hanging around her neck.
Bochang responded with a smile, "It was just a small matter, truly my honor to be able to help."
As he spoke, his gaze briefly fell upon the beauty mark near Natasha's left corner of the mouth.
Earlier, Seele had approached Natasha and disclosed everything... including Bochang's identity, strength, and his ability to produce those white lotus flowers.
Now, with nothing pressing to do, Seele sat on a wooden chair, sipping water and quietly observing the two interact.
"Mr. Bochang truly is a good person; I'm sure there was some misunderstanding at first, right Seele? That child has always been cautious around strangers, but once you get to know her...you'll realize she's just tough-talking yet kind-hearted...deep down, she's genuinely a nice kid."
Hearing Natasha's words, Seele felt compelled several times to remind her that she wasn't a child anymore. However, after a moment's thought...
She remained silent.
Bochang responded without any hint of embarrassment, "I don't mind at all... Being cautious around strangers is actually wise. Not everyone is as well-intentioned as me..."
Natasha and Bochang engaged in some small talk around Seele before getting to the main topic.
"I assume Mr. Bochang is aware of the clinic's difficulties. Regarding those lotus flowers you provided, I've already tested them. They indeed have remarkable effects on injuries, not only accelerating wound healing but also providing pain relief..."
After learning about Bochang from Seele, Natasha conducted experiments using the clinic's animals first, then tried it herself, ultimately confirming the petals' efficacy.
Both oral consumption and topical application showed benefits.
The petals could be considered exceptional healing remedies, though she wasn't sure if there were any side effects.
"Are you certain these don't have any adverse effects?" Natasha couldn't help but ask.
Bochang pondered for a moment before replying, "I don't think so... After all, these white lotuses are created using my own ability."
Based on her tests,
Natasha hadn't observed any harmful effects either, but... just to be cautious, she decided to observe further.
Administering substances of unknown origin recklessly to patients was inherently irresponsible behavior.
Moreover, they still had some leftover painkillers, which would barely suffice for today.
Noticing the concern on Natasha's face, Bochang fully comprehended her reservations.
"If you're facing any difficulties, Natasha, feel free to tell me directly. If I can help, I certainly will," Bochang said straightforwardly.
Natasha responded, "Here's the thing... Before confirming that the petals have no side effects, could Mr. Bochang stay at the clinic? I approximately need three more hours for testing. In the meantime, Mr. Bochang, could you produce some White Lotus flowers... Due to a recent armed conflict, many people were injured, so... I require about two boxes of White Lotus."
"Leave it to me." Bochang patted his chest confidently, as providing white lotus flowers was precisely why he had come in the first place; there was no need for hesitation.
Natasha finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"That's great. I hope this won't cause any inconvenience, Mr. Bochang."
"Not at all, Natasha. Don't worry about it."
After exchanging a few more words...
Natasha hurried back to her office with urgency to continue her experiments.
With insufficient painkillers available, they could only rely on white lotuses as substitutes.
Before using them, however, Natasha needed to ensure that the petals were entirely harmless—a task both tedious and challenging.
She temporarily entrusted the care of patients outside to Seele.
Unless there were any issues, she preferred not to be disturbed.
Observing Seele, who had taken charge of attending to the clinic's patients without anyone noticing, Bochang remarked, "I didn't expect you to handle patient care so well. Given your temper, I thought you'd lose patience within minutes..."
"That's just your stereotype," Seele glanced at Bochang dismissively. "You should focus on your own tasks... Natasha requires a significant amount of painkillers."
Hearing Seele's consistently icy tone, Bochang couldn't help but secretly shake his head: Still missing Bai Xi, huh...
He turned and entered the small room prepared for him by Natasha. Inside, he activated the skill - Tongue Blossoming Lotus.
White lotuses fluttered out, gently descending around him.
Only after filling a small wooden box with a capacity of twenty liters...
did Bochang feel a slight sense of fatigue.
Using the Tongue Blossoming Lotus skill drained both his stamina and vitality.
Filling this one small wooden box felt akin to using several powerful Dragon Blasts consecutively.
In the past,
attempting to fill two boxes, totaling forty liters, would likely have exhausted him to the point of fainting.
It would have likely exhausted him to the point of fainting.
However, with his current twenty-four times enhanced physique,
filling these two small wooden boxes only left him feeling somewhat weary, without any significant strain on his body.
In just about ten minutes,
Bochang completed his task. He spent some time playing with his phone and daydreaming, but eventually, finding it truly boring, he lay down on the nearby sofa for a nap.
Suddenly, amidst a commotion...
"Mr. Bochang... Mr. Bochang, are you alright?"
Accompanied by a concerned female voice, Bochang felt a pair of moderately-sized hands gently nudging him.
Slowly opening his eyes,
he saw Natasha's anxious face hovering close by.
"Mr. Bochang, you really scared me! I thought you had fainted from overexertion."
