Jym Rogers Bread Soda did restore stamina, but not quickly.
To fully recover Bochang's stamina, it was uncertain how much time would be needed.
Initially planning to intervene, Bochang reconsidered upon seeing the "Dating Options" appear.
Absolutely no Big Biodou!
«Option Two.»
Bochang quietly observed.
On Star Date, March 7th, during the siege of Cocolia, the battle became intensely contested.
Both sides engaged fiercely, with neither gaining immediate dominance.
Empowered by Stellaron, Cocolia possessed immense strength, making it difficult for Stelle and March 7th to overcome her swiftly.
Similarly, Dan Heng and Bronya faced a stalemate against the surrounding rift creatures.
However, unlike the stalemate with Cocolia,
Dan Heng and Bronya fought like true War Gods, relentlessly slaying rift creatures on the battlefield.
Unfortunately, the enemy numbers were simply overwhelming, seemingly endless. Occasionally, a few creatures managed to breach their defenses and reach Bochang.
For such audacious opponents, Bochang typically rewarded them with a swift Dragon Blast.
["Rewarding item - Congratulations! You have received an erhu. Note: This item has been stored in the System space and can be directly accessed for use."]
The System's announcement failed to stir any emotion within Bochang.
Just an ordinary erhu, not particularly useful.
As minutes passed, Bochang felt his inner strength growing increasingly potent. The urge to join the battle surged, but mindful of the potential risk of taking a Big Biodou hit, he continued resting and gradually accumulating power.
Amidst this anxious waiting, Serval and Sampo appeared on the battlefield. The first to notice them was Bronya, as both the successor of the Great Guardian and the leader of the Silvermane Guards.
Bronya recognized Serval and Sampo well. One due to their shared family ties, and the other because he was a wanted criminal.
Surprised, Bronya muttered, "What brings them here?"
Although reluctant to admit it, after Serval and Sampo joined the fray, Dan Heng and Bronya found themselves significantly relieved. Seeing this, even the stoic little azure dragon considered turning back to support Stelle and March 7th.
It's possible that Serval and Sampo's arrival distracted the gray-haired girl momentarily.
Seizing the opportunity, Cocolia launched a fierce attack, sending a gleaming icicle straight towards Stelle from behind.
"Watch out!" March 7th shouted.
Bochang, who had been closely observing the battle between Stelle and Cocolia, didn't even notice Serval and Sampo's arrival. Fully focused, he naturally saw this unfolding scene as well.
[Dating Options activated.]
[Option 1: Ignore Cocolia's attack, take out your erhu, and start playing—Completion Reward: Obtain Tianjian mastery.]
[Option 2: Help Stelle block Cocolia's lethal strike—Completion Reward: Receive a random item, ranging from a matchstick to a star destroyer. Note: These items will...]
Bochang was momentarily stunned by the new options.
Considering just the rewards:
Option 1 clearly seemed better than Option 2.
Tianjian is a martial realm found in the "Feng Yun" universe, arguably the highest level of martial achievement.
In a setting with cosmic-scale dimensions, it might be slightly less prestigious, but likely still superior to gambling for random items.
The reward might be of lower tier, but it should still be better than gambling for items.
Bochang hadn't forgotten his previous gamble, which resulted in an ultra-fashionable sanitary pad. He hadn't even examined it yet, unsure just how fashionable it truly was...
"No... this isn't the time to think about that."
Watching the countdown drop from fifty to ten, Bochang ultimately made a decision against his usual principles.
"Option two."
While the rewards of Option one seemed enticing,
Bochang could not disregard Stelle's life at stake.
As the only member currently engaging Cocolia in close combat, Stelle had no immediate backup; March 7th provided support from afar. It was challenging to ensure their complete protection.
For instance, right now:
March 7th likely wouldn't have enough time to intercept the icicle with an arrow. Bochang needed to act himself.
As for whether Stelle would die or not—
Bochang had no time to ponder that question.
Time seemed to resume its flow.
The black-haired youth swiftly made a decision and activated his teleportation ring.
Although the maximum distance for a single teleport with this ring was ten meters,
and Stelle was approximately forty meters away,
with enough Speed attribute points,
performing three consecutive teleports was entirely feasible.
And that's exactly what Bochang did.
Just as March 7th finished shouting and prepared to draw her bow for support, she saw a flash of white light streak across the battlefield.
It reminded her of the moment when Bochang had whisked her away during their escape.
Upon hearing March 7th's warning,
Stelle realized the danger, but it was too late now. She slightly turned her head, watching helplessly as the icicle approached rapidly.
"I can't dodge... What should I do? Am I going to die?" A trace of defiance flickered in Stelle's golden eyes.
As a young gray-haired girl, she naturally didn't want to perish.
Fortunately, at that crucial moment, she spotted a burst of white light illuminating behind her.
Instantly... hope reignited within Stelle's heart, fueling her desire to survive.
Having experienced the battle against the Doomsday Beast, Stelle instinctively knew what that white light signified.
It meant Bochang was rushing to provide support.
The thought instantly filled her with a sense of security.
The teleportation via the ring was incredibly swift.
Within less than half a second...
Bochang appeared within five meters of Stelle, raising his hand and activating the Invisible Hand.
A massive black-purple hand securely grasped the icicle aimed at the gray-haired girl, halting it mid-air, preventing it from advancing further.
The bone-chilling cold made Bochang shiver involuntarily.
Since acquiring the Invisible Hand, this was his first time using it in combat.
Although Stelle didn't understand why the icicle had stopped, seeing Bochang's clenched fist, she immediately realized he had intervened.
No words were needed.
Stelle continued her attack on Cocolia, while Bochang exerted all his strength to crush the icicle.
Cocolia scolded fiercely, "You fool... Despite being weakened, you still dare to confront me alone? You're practically courting death!"
The black-haired youth who could obliterate her Creation Engine with a single blast instilled considerable fear in Cocolia.
Her previous attempts to eliminate him had failed due to Bochang's allies constantly shielding him.
But now...
Bochang had stepped out of his protected zone and onto the front lines.
Seeing this opportunity, Cocolia believed she might finally be able to take him down. Instantly changing course, she bypassed Stelle and charged directly towards Bochang, resembling a queen amidst icy landscapes.
As Cocolia launched her assault, her body emitted a chilling white mist all around.
Bochang recognized it as fog created by extremely low temperatures. A mere touch from this would have dire consequences.
To his surprise, he found it challenging to evade Cocolia's charge.
Fortunately, the System's timely notification sounded.
[Rewards being distributed—Congratulations! You have obtained the Sacred Shield, which can ignore any attack for three seconds. After use, it requires twenty-four hours to recharge before it can be used again. Note: This item has been stored in the System space and needs blood activation by its owner to be usable.]
Glancing at the details, Bochang decided:
Forget it.
