With Mu Ke and Li JingYi's eager attitude, AiLin couldn't find it in herself to reject the offer. She began to answer after a thoughtful pause, "I'll try."
"Yeah!" JingYi clapped his hands happily and began to jump around the place like a little puppy.
AiLin chuckled seeing the younger man being happier than herself in a decision that would benefit her more than him. Though she was what Mu Ke, the novelist, wanted, Li JingYi could have chosen someone else in her stead if she kept rejecting his offers. The fact that he doesn't, explain that deep down his eagerness in having her act was because he simply wanted her to go after her dream.
Mu Ke was as happy as Li JingYi as they both clapped their hands together. His grey eyes then subtly moved toward where he felt AiLin was and curiously she was the one to start asking questions, "You told me that your friend was the one who had gave you the idea of the novel. Do you know how he came up with the storyline?"
