Deep in her mind, she wondered if she should be offended that Li YingYi had offered her money in exchange for leaving Li ZiChen. Yet why is it the thing that haunted her head more was questions about the scar and the snake tattoo that was on Li ZiChen's hands. It was as if she was supposed to dwell on it though she was certain she had never been involved with a man like Li ZiChen before.
If it wasn't her, then could it be really someone else?
AiLin pushed herself from the chair of the cafe. She grabbed the shopping bags to her shoulders which stirred Li YingYi's attention at once. He also stood up, having gathered himself, he looked more poised if only he shut his mouth and kept a stern face like Li ZiChen. Though he wouldn't be comparable to the immense air and pressure that Li ZiChen could exude just by standing, he should be able to at least have a strong hold in himself.
