Chapter 37 - Barefooted Bridge

AiLin snapped her eyes wide. 

Under the moon was a face of a man who was expressing such a grave concern. He seemed as if he had just been stabbed, staring at her, demanding for her answer, and seemingly as if he was the one who was going to die. 

She turned to look around her, finding herself standing at the bridge filled with cars that were passing through. Not far from where she had stood, there was a black car that belonged to Li ZiChen. It took her another second to see that his face belonged to Li ZiChen himself. 

"What are you doing here?" AiLin's voice was as clear as a droplet of water as she looked at him, "You seemed.. so shocked."
