AiLin stopped what she was doing and just stared at Li ZiChen.
Questions flooded into her mind.
'How long do you think I have loved you for?'
An odd question and an odd sentence. As she thought she and Li ZiChen had really met before in her past. She didn't know when and how, perhaps she couldn't even remembered it now that she had found out from Dr. Mei that her memories were missing. So that would mean she had forgotten about Li ZiChen and how they met before.
For some reason this caused her heart to ache. Like something stabbing her heart and she couldn't gather whether it's guilt or conscience. She only thought of how saddening was it for Li ZiChen to love someone like her, so unavailable, so ugly, and now so broken.
