AiLin raised her hand in defeat. She couldn't have Canary speaking another word about Li ZiChen with how outrageous she was behaving. Gulping down her nervousness, she looked back at her friend who seemed convinced by Li ZiChen now which was odd with the sudden change of attitude but it wasn't the first time for Canary to suddenly switch up, especially upon realizing the person she hate might bring her more advantage than demerits. Canary's best talent was to discern a person's merit towards them and wouldn't hesitate to do just about anything to keep that merit to themselves. In this case, Canary seemed to have summarized that Li ZiChen would be their biggest ally and it would be a mistake not to pull the man deeper to their clutch.
"No. Enough," AiLin sighed as she pushed her hand to her forehead, squeezing it. "I told you before, I don't want to be in a relationship."
