Hearing his words, her cheeks burn. She didn't want to receive his praise, she didn't dress up for it but somewhere she had expected him to say those words, as if she had given more effort to have herself looking presentable so she could hear these praises from him. She was genuinely delighted seeing his face that was awed in amazement, his lips and mouth that were wide apart as if he was truly shocked to be able to see such beauty right in front of him, as if he was blind of colors until he had laid eyes on her.
That movement on his expression made her felt so.. utterly… delighted.
She was always "dirty" a filthy little thing who would crawl to be alive no matter what, so annoying to others' eyes as they wanted her to just be gone from their eyes for good, to disappear and not to take up the spaces for how annoying she was.
