Chapter 176 - 174: The Performance of Pretended Disdain

The beds in the luxury hotel were quite comfortable. Perhaps it was the irresistible sleepiness that suddenly descended upon them, but both Eriri and Utaha had a peaceful and pleasant night.

As the sun rose and dawn broke around six ten in the morning, the two girls, sleeping in separate beds, opened their eyes almost simultaneously.

Their gazes were not those of someone just waking up; instead, they were filled with a different kind of… allure.

It was hard to imagine such complex expressions coming from someone just awakening.

They turned their faces toward each other at the same time. Neither had time to alter the moist and affectionate gleam in their eyes.

In that moment of eye contact, they quickly averted their gazes back to a neutral position.

Without saying a word, a mere glance was enough for them to understand they had both experienced the same thing; everything was unspoken.

"Knock, knock, knock."

As this subtle atmosphere spread silently in the room, a knock at the door broke the silence.

Utaha buried her feelings of disappointment deep within and checked her phone for the time. She asked, "Who is it?"

"It's me," came the voice of Chisato.

"Just a moment."

Without much hesitation, despite feeling angry at this troublesome guy last night, Utaha was not at the point of refusing to open the door.

She lifted the blanket covering her and was about to get out of bed when she suddenly froze.

Slowly, she pulled the blanket back over herself, pinched her brow, and said casually, "I just woke up and feel a bit lightheaded. You go open the door."

On the other side, Eriri, who had her hands tightly gripping the edge of the blanket, her face inexplicably flushed, and breathing a bit unevenly, was simply sitting at the head of the bed, staring blankly.

She didn't respond and didn't immediately follow Utaha's suggestion.

When Utaha looked at her again, their eyes met once more, conveying a lot of information that hadn't been shared before.

Eriri silently lay back down, turning away.

Then she heard the sound of several tissues being pulled.

Once Utaha finished getting ready and walked to the door, she heard the sound of Eriri pulling tissues behind her.

From the sound, it seemed Eriri had pulled five, two more than she had.

Neither of them spoke about this awkward behavior.

In their dreams, serving the same person while indulging in fantasy was one thing, but in reality, they hadn't reached that level yet.

They still needed to preserve some dignity for each other.

Utaha opened the door to find Chisato dressed in the same hotel pajamas as she was.

Her cheeks flushed intensely. The events of the dream from last night not only affected her thoughts but also her body.

The pathway to a woman's heart is sex.

This phrase may be crude, but it holds some truth.

Looking at Utaha's reaction now, it was clear that just before bed last night, she had planned to show her indifferent side when they met again in the morning.

She wanted Chisato to understand that even though she liked him immensely, she had her own boundaries that she would never cross.

But now that they were face to face, she directly stepped out of the room, took Chisato's somewhat confused hand, and pulled him back to his room without any hesitation, leaving Eriri behind looking bewildered.

Wait, why aren't you letting him in? What are you two doing?

In the other room, Utaha coolly and decisively shut the door with her foot and then pushed Chisato down onto the sofa.

She kicked off her slippers, knelt on the soft bed, and moved closer to sit beside him.

Simply gazing at Chisato's face made her heart race, especially as she realized they were in the room where he had spent the night, with the cushions and sofa carrying his pleasant minty scent.

This made her feel like something deep inside her was stirring awake.

It's worth noting that in her dreams, Utaha, as someone with experience, had countless ways to feel pleasure, both active and passive, far beyond just eighteen.

She cupped Chisato's face with both hands and leaned down to nuzzle him with her nose.

"Knock, knock, knock."

Utaha closed her eyes, and Chisato supported her body. They were too engrossed in each other to pay attention to the annoying knocking.

It wasn't until the knocking grew more frantic and Eriri's irritated voice broke through that they reluctantly separated.

But they still ignored the noise coming from outside.

"...I guess I don't need to ask again; it seems you had a dream too last night."

Chisato tucked Utaha's disheveled hair behind her ear.

The button on his pajama shirt had been expertly undone by Utaha during their kiss, and now her right hand rested on his chest, feeling his strong heartbeat.

"Mm…"

Utaha responded simply and succinctly.

She wasn't in a hurry to leave Chisato's side but instead continued to gaze at him with what looked like tears welling up in her eyes.

She proposed, "Let's skip school today and take a day off."

Chisato understood the implications behind Utaha's words, given her flushed face.

But honestly, this was not a good time, not only because he wasn't prepared, but mainly because Eriri was outside, her anger steadily rising as she continued to bang on the door.

So he shook his head, saying, "No way, we can't skip class for no reason. I still need to study."

"...What do you want to learn? I can teach you here after we take a day off."

Leaning closer like a cat, Utaha whispered sweetly into his ear.

Chisato was surprised by Utaha's boldness but quickly reassured himself.

After all, just before the CG recollection climax, he had left Eriri, who had been satisfied and languid, to approach Utaha, who had been waiting for nearly an hour with a wistful look, preparing for a deeper interaction.

With a soft sound, the dream shattered like a dull bubble, leaving no time for anyone to react.

After a long wait, only to be left unfulfilled, it was no wonder she showed up in this state now.

Chisato sensed the malice of the simulation, unsure if it was directed at him or Utaha.

In any case, if he didn't calm her down now, he felt that things could take a turn for the worse.

He was thankful that after waking up and knocking on the door, he had rinsed his mouth with mouthwash after using the bathroom; otherwise, he wouldn't have the grounds to say what he needed to say next.

Determined, Chisato decided to showcase the superb acting skills he had acquired from the simulation of the vibrant Iroha.

He furrowed his brows slightly, turning his face away awkwardly.

"Uh… Utaha…"

The second pause lasted longer than the first, and his expression of discomfort needed to be clearly evident, especially with a hint of disdain.

"Did you… forget to brush your teeth?"
