Chapter 38 - 38: Eriri’s Shameful Display

Chisato stood with his arms crossed, staring at the egg placed on a tissue in the center of his desk.

He had maintained this posture for quite some time.

In the simulation, he had found a young crow. But now, in the real world, the system had given him an egg instead.

This was problematic. He was a student, gone most of the day, and couldn't be home to watch over the egg.

Even if he managed to hatch the egg, caring for a newborn bird would be difficult. The slightest mistake could be fatal.

Taking the egg to school for care? It wasn't impossible, but it would be inconvenient.

Just as Chisato was considering whether to ask his mother to look after the egg, the egg trembled slightly.

He thought it was his imagination, but then he heard a sound from inside the egg, and a crack appeared on the shell.

Is it hatching already? So suddenly?

Completely unprepared, Chisato watched the egg intently, then grabbed his phone to search online for tips on raising a baby bird.

A few minutes later, the bird had fully emerged from its shell. It had jet-black feathers covered in a sticky fluid and black eyes that seemed almost human-like as they scanned the room.

Finally, its gaze settled on Chisato's face.

Noticing the feathers and the fact that its eyes were open right after hatching, Chisato knew this was no ordinary bird.

Normally, newly hatched birds are featherless, with pink skin exposed, and their eyes are completely closed.

Of course, since this was a magical crow from the system, it made sense that it would be different from ordinary birds.

Chisato slowly extended his left hand, holding it out in front of the baby bird.

The bird stumbled a few steps before finally making its way into his palm.

Chisato extended his right hand, offering a finger to the bird. It immediately nuzzled against his finger, rolling around in joy and affection.

Now, Chisato began to understand why the system had given him an egg instead of a baby bird.

According to the "imprinting" theory proposed by German behaviorist Konrad Lorenz, the first thing a newborn animal sees often becomes its primary attachment figure.

A bond that usually lasts for life.

For example, if a newborn animal first sees something other than its mother, like a dog, cat, or toy goose, it may follow that object as if it were its mother, and this response is often irreversible.

Most likely, in this little crow's eyes, Chisato was now the most trusted and intimate person in its world.

Chisato must be the most trusted and closest person in the little crow's world now.

"Well... Dark Wing, from now on, you'll be called Dark Wing. For convenience, I'll call you Little Black. How does that sound?"

Dark Wing stopped rolling around in Chisato's palm and let out a cheerful little chirp.

After that, Chisato found a clean small towel to wrap up the crow and used scissors to make a small hole in the back of a pillow, stuffing some cotton inside to create a clean and hygienic little nest.

After feeding Little Black some milk, it peacefully fell asleep in its nest. Seeing this, Chisato turned off the lights and lay down on his bed.

It had been quite a task to complete the simulation for Sawamura Eriri, even though it was just a simulation.

So, who to choose tonight...

Chisato opened the simulator interface and hesitated between the options of the long-haired senpai and the tsundere twin-tails before finally selecting the latter.

One day, one change.

He entered the CG review interface and clicked on the event related to "That Night's Seven Passions" for settings.

This way, he could rest while re-experiencing that unforgettable night.

Good night, world.

Sawamura House.

Sunlight filtered through the curtains and reflected off the full-length mirror, casting a glow on Sawamura Eriri's flushed face.

"Mm... Chisato... don't... no..."

In her sleep, Eriri murmured incoherent words that sparked wild imaginations.

Her sleeping posture was also quite improper.

Her delicate hands clutched the pillow tightly, her flat stomach exposed and slightly arched, while her toes curled up, gripping the sheets tightly, making a mess of the bed.

As she let out a low moan, her body trembled violently.

After a moment of rigidity, she slowly relaxed and softened.

Her breathing gradually became steady, but her still flushed face told the story of what had just happened.

*Ding-ding...* The alarm rang but was immediately turned off by someone.

Sawamura Sayuri, Eriri's mother, withdrew her hand from the alarm clock.

She glanced at her still-sleeping daughter and quietly slipped the phone she had been using to record the scene into her pocket.

Her emotions were quite... not right, but extremely subtle, hard to describe accurately.

As a mother, waking her daughter up for breakfast was a matter of course.

But upon entering the room and seeing her daughter seemingly dreaming, with reactions and words that were quite interesting, it was understandable to think about recording this amusing and embarrassing moment for fun and later ridicule.

After all, as mother and daughter, such things weren't a big deal; similar situations had happened before.

However, from the middle of the recording, Sayuri, a woman who had been married for nearly twenty years and was experienced in such matters, began to feel increasingly uneasy.

Why?

Because her precious daughter's reactions and the sounds she was making clearly indicated that she was having a wet dream!

In less than ten minutes, Sayuri had witnessed her daughter change positions three times: side lying, kneeling, and then back to lying flat.

Such a vigorous response to a dream during puberty was quite impressive.

Wanting to preserve her daughter's dignity, Sayuri abandoned the idea of amusement and quietly left the room.

However, the name Eriri mentioned was somewhat intriguing.

Chisato...

Was that a character from the anime she was currently obsessed with?
