I walk hand-in-hand with my mother. She has been worried since I revealed my husband's infidelity and my divorce. She has been bothering me nonstop to make sure I am okay. Although the sudden attention make me feel uncomfortable but it still warms my heart. I realized it is an attention given to a child by her mother and I have no right to refuse as I wasn't her real child.
"What should we do today, honey? Should we have a small tea party with our family? Your father and baby would be delighted!" She said happily. I nodded agreeing to her suggestion. Meanwhile my son, Qillua silently hear us talking while holding my mother's left hand.
"How would you like that idea, baby?" She asked my son while looking at him. He smiled cheerfully at her.
"Yes, grandma. I would love that" he said. All of us smiled. Before I could talk to my mother, a man shouted at me.
"Qamilya! How dare you try to divorce me!" It is Theodore. He must've had some brain issues so he forgot he cheated on the og Qamilya.
"This is not a place to argue, Theodore. There is a child here." I said while holding Qillua in my arms.
"I don't care!You need to come with me!" He said trying to grasp my hand but the knights stopped him from doing so. My mother immediately took my child from me after I signaled her to bring him inside. I don't want the young child to witness such drama from his own parents.
Right after my son and mother went to other place with the knights, he tried to grab my hand yet again but i pushed him away from me. He look at me mad.
"If you have something to say to me then you should say it here right now. I won't tolerate any disrespect from you." I said firmly to him. I could see him fuming from anger.
"You should cancel the divorce! I did nothing wrong to deserve this treatment especially from you! Haven't you see? I brought this family to its peak under my leadership!" He said arrogantly. Yes indeed the family is at it's peak now but it was all thanks to Qamilya's hardwork. She was the one making all the plans and contract that he presented to other families.
"You don't deserve it? Did i hear you correctly? You must have aged so much that you forgot you cheated on me AND the contracts you presented were all made by ME!" I sais shutting him down. His previously arrogant look completely shattered hearing me say that. Cold sweats dripping down his face. He gulped while looking around anxiously to see if anyone heard me. As soon as he realised the place has nobody around except us, he smiled again.
"You can't say it like that! You don't even have any evidence." He said mockingly. I slapped him in the face.
"Are you sure about that Theodore Jesvan? We'll see who laugh at whom later in the court." I said before turning my back from him. He tried grabbing my hand but i used magic to defend myself.
"You should go now before there's news that you're begging me not to divorce you." I said knowing fully well that both him and Baron Eloise care about their image more than anything.
He storm out angrily. He couldn't realise that I had put a recording chip on his hair while using magic just now.

Duke Theodore storm out of the duchy angrily. He got on his carriage stomping his feet. There, his mistress was waiting anxiously for him hoping to get a good news.
"How did it go? Did she agree to cancel the divorce? Will she put my father in jail?" She said as soon as he got in the carriage.
"I don't know! She wouldn't agree to cancel the divorce even if i used that stupid child!" He said while gritting his teeth. Reanna Eloise let out a sigh while looking helpless.
"Then, what should we do? How about our child? I can't tell my husband that I'm pregnant with your child! We don't have anything to live with now!" She said while holding her slightly bulging stomach. He look at her pitifully and embraced her body. Yes, Reanna was originally married but in the first life, she left her husband for Theodore as soon as Qamilya left the duchy.
"It's okay honey! I'll do my best for our child. I love you so much Reanna Eloise. We'll rule the duchy together and make our son an heir!" He said with a determined voice. I laughed behind the magic orb. This is exactly what I needed. The voice is as clear as water. I can use this to fight against them in the court. After i made sure to get a record of the conversation, I immediately dispose the recording orb. Since it was made using magic, so i can dispose it easily using magic too.
I checked the recording orb I hid in Baron Eloise's office next. I smirked when I could see the Baron and his daughter, Reanna talking with each other panicked.
"What should we do, dad? We could lose all the wealth we have now! I don't want to live in poverty again! I will be ridiculed by the other noble ladies!" She said sobbing. Her father look at her while trying to calm her down.
"Calm down baby, I will make sure they have nothing to turn against us. I will make you the duchess and we will live glamorously!" He said trying to convince her. Suddenly he put his hands on her shoulders .
"You have to make sure that Theodore is in love with you! He may be dumb but he will inherit the title of duke if that stupid kid and his mother die!" He added. I look at the recording angrily. Of course, why didn't I thought that they would kill me and Qillua too? I continue watching the recording again.
"Yes father. And since I'm pregnannt with his child now, he's smitten with me. Hahahaha" she said laughing . Her father laughed with her as he hug her.
"I knew you could be trusted! You're the best daughter I've ever had darling! Do make sure that your husband didn't suspect that the child is not his." He said.
"Yes father, I will do so. But father, the business has been going down lately since that stupid bitch refused to make any more useful contracts." She said referring to me. Baron Eloise thought about what she said. Then his face lit up again.
"What are you thinking so hard about that? We can just find another person to take her job." He said.
"That's true too. You're so smart, dad! I wish to be just like you!" She said cheerfully as she hug her father. I laughed at their foolishness. Like fatheer, like daughter. Truly a pair of rubbish father daughter. I kept the recording safe in my magic orb before I called in a maid. Since the servants in the mansion had been mostly fired, we have recruited new servants throughout the territory. The maid who previously honestly talk about the other servants response to my order is now the head maid and my personal maid. She helped me get through the servants list.

I rang the bell to call the maid. My personal maid, Tera came in with other maids. They dressed me in a beautiful dancing gown. The gown has beautiful galaxy theme with the colour Dark blue and shining diamonds embedded on the gown. My silver hair is made into cinderella's ball hair and adorned with a beautiful crown with shining diamonds.
After I finished dressing up, the maids all gasped with teary eyes. All of them praised my beauty and how I would be the star of today's party. It is a party in the palace to celebrate the empire's princess's debut. I thanked them and walked downstairs. There, my parents are waiting for me. They both adores my look and offer their hands to me. I accepted their hands and we walk to the party together.
