"Ethan, are you... you're okay!"
Penelope arrived with more than a dozen young Ravenclaw wizards. After seeing the scene in front of her, she didn't know what to say.
Because she was too flustered, she had forgotten Ethan's strength. Now thinking back, she realized she should worry more about whether these Slytherins would survive.
Just after the last class, she had seen a panicked Ravenclaw third-year girl.
As a prefect, Penelope naturally had to inquire. After learning that Ethan was being bullied by five senior Slytherins, she gathered her fifth-year classmates and the Ravenclaw students she met on the way.
It's a pity that this young Ravenclaw wizard didn't see the end and didn't know what happened afterward. She thought Ethan would be bullied badly.
When Ethan was surrounded, Penelope had just come out of the Hogwarts library with a companion.
Seeing the Slytherin students bullying the Ravenclaw students, she and her companion, both third-year wizards, did not dare to step forward, nor did they choose to watch. One of them went to find Professor Flitwick, and the other headed to the Ravenclaw common room for help.
The one who went to the Ravenclaw common room met Penelope halfway, so they were able to come quickly.
"Have you thought about the consequences of doing this?"
After a moment of silence, Penelope whispered in Ethan's ear.
It seemed that he went a little too far, and a simple lesson would have sufficed. Now these people were all injured. Fortunately, they were in the wizarding world and could recover; otherwise, there would have been bigger problems.
And Ethan breaking their wands was too extreme!
Breaking a wand can be seen as a life-and-death feud. Of course, Penelope looked at the state of these guys and saw that they were terrified to the core. They certainly wouldn't dare to seek revenge, but the impact was still concerning.
More importantly, would Ethan be expelled for such a severe action?
"No consequences, the worst that can happen is detention!"
"These guys aren't dead. Just a few bottles of potion will do the trick, and isn't their House Head a Potions Master?"
Ethan said indifferently.
Expelled?
Ethan was sure that it was impossible!
Not to mention that they were the ones who started the trouble and used their wands first.
And whose Head of House doesn't protect their students? Professor Flitwick wouldn't stand idly by.
Even Dumbledore couldn't expel Ethan. Although Ethan wasn't Harry and couldn't receive special treatment, Ethan's talent was definitely worth Dumbledore's attention.
What would happen if Ethan were expelled?
Expelled wizards often have conflicts with some pure-blood and half-blood wizards, and their talents are still quite potent.
In this case, unless they can be killed outright, there would be endless troubles.
But given Ethan's current strength, it wouldn't be so easy to kill him if he wanted to go into hiding after leaving Hogwarts.
He would definitely come into contact with dark wizards and cause trouble. Whether he would become the next Voldemort was uncertain, but the wizarding world would surely be in turmoil.
For this reason, Dumbledore would never expel Ethan unless he was a fool.
He would feel more at ease keeping him at school than having him out in the world.
"Are you sure you won't be expelled?"
Penelope was still a little worried, as Hogwarts had a precedent for expulsion.
"I'm sure!"
Ethan nodded confidently.
Penelope didn't say anything more, as Ethan didn't need her comfort in this situation.
She was just a little worried about Ethan's mental state. Penelope, who occasionally went to the Room of Requirement with Ethan, knew that he was very good at using dark magic, and dark magic often carried negative effects, so she was afraid that Ethan would be influenced.
At that moment, another group of people arrived. They were drawn by the miserable howling just now. They had come out of the library, and there were young wizards from all four Houses.
"Ethan, what's going on?"
Cassandra and Hermione were among the group of people, and they came up to Ethan.
Although they didn't know the specific details, they could tell that Ethan was the protagonist of this scene.
"These guys wanted to steal the formula for the Baruffio's Brain Elixir. I didn't give it to them, so they started a fight. In the end, I won."
"If Dumbledore gives you a hard time, I'll tell my father."
After saying that, Cassandra stepped back and rejoined the crowd.
Knowing the reason, it was clear that these scum, who tarnished the honor of Slytherin, had caused the problem. Naturally, she wouldn't let Ethan take the fall. This was her rival for the next seven years. What would she do if he were expelled?
Her father, the Director of the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, still held considerable influence in the British wizarding world. Even Dumbledore couldn't ignore him.
Hermione, on the other hand, was so anxious she almost cried. She was now the kind of good student who strictly followed all the rules and regulations of Hogwarts. She hadn't gone on any nighttime adventures with Harry, Ron, and the others, or maybe she just wasn't that familiar with them.
After all, Hermione, who had been outdone by Ethan in her best subjects, still liked to compete for the top spot, but she wasn't as preachy and arrogant as she was in the original story, and she could earn points for Gryffindor from time to time.
This allowed her to make a few friends among the Gryffindor girls, so she naturally didn't get close to the representatives of bad behavior (the main reason for Gryffindor losing points) Harry and Ron, due to a brief encounter on the train.
As a result, Hermione, a good student who had not yet understood the true nature of Hogwarts, had already concluded in her heart that Ethan was basically going to be expelled, with no chance of escape!
As the incident spread rapidly, more and more students gathered around, including the twins, Cedric, Cho Chang, and Harry. They had all heard the commotion and rushed over to ask Ethan about the situation and to express their concern.
Of course, Malfoy, one of the instigators, was also hiding in the crowd and observing.
These five unfortunate Slytherins had been recruited by him, and the two sides had even met before the confrontation, so Draco and the others were waiting not far away for good news. But they didn't expect this outcome.
Now, seeing the group all disabled, they began to sweat. Ethan was so skilled in combat. He had taken on five fourth-year students by himself and had been so ruthless.
When the conflict happened on the train, who knows how much he had held back.
Draco didn't know if they had been betrayed. If they had, Ethan would know it was him who instigated the whole thing.
Thinking of this, Draco's legs trembled, and he wanted to slap himself. Why did I provoke him for no reason?
"Goyle, Crabbe, let's go back!"
Draco was a little unsteady as he walked, and he had the two of them support him as they made their way to the Slytherin dormitory. He just wanted to stay far away from Ethan.
