"Cedric, are you drinking potions?"
The door of the Hufflepuff common room opened, and several young wizards came in, talking and laughing. They were surprised to see Cedric and his friends picking something out of the crucible, putting it on their plates, and eating it with red faces.
Their faces were all red and sweaty, and they were not in a good state.
The leader immediately advised them:
"If you feel uncomfortable, you can go to the school hospital instead of making potions yourself."
Hufflepuff truly lives up to its reputation as the most united house.
"York, I'm not feeling unwell. I'm just eating. It's hot and spicy, but it tastes great!"
Cedric answered, still holding the tongs in his hand.
"That's right, York. Do you want to try it? It's really delicious. This is the way of eating that Ethan introduced from Muggles."
Fred also extended an invitation.
York Gladstone, the fifth-year class leader of Hufflepuff, also lives in St. Catchpole Village, and the two sides have a good relationship.
"Senior, you should come and try it. I believe you won't be disappointed."
Ethan naturally didn't mind adding one more person. If needed, he could prepare more crucibles. It was no big deal!
Getting familiar with the people from Hufflepuff would make it much easier to get something to eat in the future.
York approached the group and greeted Ethan enthusiastically: "Ethan Adrian, I know you. Welcome to the Hufflepuff lounge!"
He then sat down next to the group, prepared the dipping sauce under Ethan's guidance, and started eating.
Hufflepuff isn't full of food enthusiasts, but there are many who enjoy eating, and York is one of them.
Initially, York was too worried to look closely, but seeing Cedric enjoying the food, he realized that it was absolutely delicious.
This is why York sat down and ate without hesitation, even after lunch.
"Hiss! Spicy! But delicious! Adrian, you really should come to Hufflepuff!"
As York swallowed the food, he gave Ethan a thumbs-up.
"No, York, you can't eat it all yourself. What about the rest of us?"
York's companions, who came in with him, were anxious. Seeing the delicious food but not having their own share was unbearable for them.
"Nellie, could you get us more of this?"
The crucible was too small for several people, and since York hadn't eaten yet, he could only rely on the house-elf.
"Sir, the kitchen still has dishes, but we don't have this soup."
Nellie looked embarrassed. She wanted to satisfy the little wizards but had never seen this way of eating or making this soup.
"I still have some of the base. If you need it, I can give it to you."
Ethan had brought a large amount. He had used only a portion, and the rest could be used for four or five more pots.
"Sir, could you give me a little? Just a small amount. I want to try making it!"
Nellie looked at the red butter block given by Ethan and immediately bowed to him.
If hot pot could become a part of Hogwarts, it would definitely be a good thing, at least for Ethan.
He wondered what Snape's reaction would be if he saw everyone cooking hot pot with a cauldron in the hall.
Ethan agreed to Nellie's request right away.
With Ethan's nod, Nellie happily accepted a small piece and then Apparated to the kitchen.
He had to prepare dishes for these little wizards. "You really should come to Hufflepuff!"
Watching this scene, York couldn't help but sigh while trying to finish the meat in his mouth.
With such quality, unity, and helpfulness, what could be more fitting for Hufflepuff than this? "You don't know, Ethan has Newt Scamander's ability to make magical animals obedient."
Fred revealed a piece of news that York hadn't expected and grabbed the meat York had just set down.
"Really?"
York didn't care much about eating now. Hufflepuff's admiration for Newt Scamander was almost as strong as Gryffindor's admiration for Dumbledore.
"I do have that ability!"
Ethan had nothing to hide.
"Sorting Hat, you are truly cursed! You sorted my Hufflepuff into Ravenclaw."
York was deeply saddened for a moment but then channeled his grief and anger into eating even more.
As more people entered the Hufflepuff common room, more joined the hot pot feast.
If Ethan hadn't brought enough hot pot base, the common room would likely have been overcrowded.
Now this hot pot had become popular in Hufflepuff, and Ethan believed it would soon be served at the long table in the Hogwarts Great Hall.
During this process, an achievement was also completed, which Ethan had not anticipated.
[Potion? No! It's food!]
Making potions is actually quite similar to cooking. Master the order of adding ingredients, flip the spatula, control the heat, and accurately time when to take it out of the pot, and a delicious dish (or potion) is ready.
Achievement goal: Make food with a crucible (1/1)
Achievement reward: Improved potion talent
