The crowd waited in apt silence as Krios lifted his right foot to take the fifteenth and final step. When his right foot finally landed on the final step, loud audible gasps were heard across the testing room.
"Just one more." Krios whispered through the pain.
His mana core was feeling the brunt of the test but it was holding out pretty well. Krios knew that if the test had more steps, he had a chance of making atleast five more steps.
"I can do this." He hyped himself up.
Krios made the final push and stepped his other foot on to the last step. Then the crowd went wild as his other foot landed on top of the steps, sealing his name on top of the leaderboard.
As he completly set foot on the final step, the pressure and pain his core was being subjected to vanished altogether. He breathed a sigh of relief and jubilation as he paused to soak it all in.
"He did it!"
"Holy shit he actually did it!"
