Breathing techniques are the foundation of Qi power; the stronger the breathing technique, the more formidable the Qi power.
Typically, players who use Qi power would choose an E-tier crack breathing technique at the first order, and they wouldn't change their breathing technique until the third order.
The reason they do not change their breathing technique at the second order is that most D-tier, and even C-tier crack drops of advanced breathing techniques do not offer significant improvements over the mid- to low-tier techniques.
But special-tier breathing techniques are different!
Special-tier breathing techniques can be considered a qualitative transformation! Once fully mastered, all moves' power will increase by at least 30%!!!
However, due to the extreme difficulty of acquiring special-tier breathing techniques, players usually only consider them at the third order.
