"To celebrate the completion of your new house, let's throw a banquet," Yars suggested, right out of the blue. Zhao Guang hadn't wanted to make a big fuss, but then he thought about it and realized that a housewarming party was indeed in order. Not having a celebration would make him seem stingy.
"Alright, but you guys handle the meat. I don't have that much; I'll get the spices," Zhao Guang agreed.
"I'll invite some people over. If the banquet is held here, there probably won't be many attendees," Yars said, noting that they were on the front lines where soldiers couldn't just abandon their posts to attend a party.
"A smaller gathering is fine; it's not a big deal," Zhao Guang responded.
Not a big deal, huh? It seemed he really didn't value the house much. That said, it must have been quite cheap.
