Dark clouds churned, and the sky grew dark. Over the earth spread rivers of magma; from above, it seemed as if the surface had cracked. The air was filled with a scorching breath, mingled with a demon qi fog carrying sparks that surged about.
Volcanoes stretched endlessly, some still erupting, and countless demons circled among the mountains. Even fish leaped out of the magma, causing bones to rise and sink.
Atop a majestic volcano was an altar where a man in a black robe sat cross-legged. His robe was wide and his hair long; at first glance, he seemed to occupy a third of the altar's surface. Sporting a tail covered in black scales, it extended from beneath his robe, draping over the edge of the altar.
In front of the man, a colossal skeleton held a bronze mirror pulsing with demon qi, as if tens of thousands of evil ghosts struggled within, desperate to break free.
