Since Gu An had the Profound Clear Tree, the White Spirit Rat mostly napped under the tree, and when it did venture out, it would be gone for days. Xiaochuan was always worried about it.
Under An Xin's lead, Xiaochuan made his way to the base of the Profound Clear Tree.
The White Spirit Rat lay there, belly up.
Xiaochuan squatted down and gently stroked its belly, the rat showing a relaxed expression.
An Xin came up behind Xiaochuan, sighing, "Fellow Xiaochuan, you spoil it too much. It's been outside for so long, shouldn't you scold it a bit?"
She disliked the White Spirit Rat's smug and lazy demeanor, and if it weren't for its owner, Gu An, she would have liked to deal with it long ago.
"Don't underestimate it; it has another name, called 'Treasure-Seeking Rat.' It rarely goes out, who knows, it might bring back something valuable," Xiaochuan smiled.
Upon hearing this, An Xin crouched down, curiously sizing up the White Spirit Rat.
