Dust filled the containment room as the explosion spread. Mikiko was far from the blast range, but the material inside her location and outside the glass were entirely different. The sound echoed in the enclosed space, making her head reel with dizziness. It took a long time before she recovered her senses. She stood up and struggled to climb out of the large hole created by the explosion.
"How's the air outside?" Chen Xiao asked without a hint of seriousness.
Mikiko suppressed her voice, trying not to inhale too much dust, "Cough cough, it doesn't seem much different."
Just then.
"Don't move!"
With a sharp shout, Mrs. Liu held up her phone, the interface already dialed to the Gene Toxin's activation panel, and her finger was already poised above the "Execute" button.
