On the third floor corridor, a giant eyeball creature wreaked havoc, casting the narrow space in a myriad of colors with various energy glows and explosions. Four A-level field teams had already been defending this spot for 15 minutes, and coupled with the pre-existing defensive measures in every corner, the ceiling and walls were long since blasted beyond recognition, exposing the defensive steel inside.
The choice of the word "defending" was by no means an exaggeration, for the eyeball creature was impervious to all forms of damage, whether from elemental weapons or the most direct physical attacks. Covered in plasma bombs, it charged at anyone it saw. Though it only had two arms, it moved with lightning speed, dragging the power-type members who could usually sprint while hauling trains behind it on the ground. The only thing that could restrain it were the sticky steel nets that sprung from the walls, but it would quickly break free from even these.
