Four squads of guards on the first floor of the building were gathered together, frantically searching for something. They spared no corner of any room.
"Five bodies. The intruders couldn't have taken them far, they must be nearby," one person shouted as he pushed open another door.
However, the room was still completely empty.
"Next one!" he yelled.
No sooner had he finished speaking than someone suddenly raised a hand, making a gesture for silence, and then pointed toward the table in the middle of the room.
Only then did they realize that the table was positioned close to the wall, with a small gap in front that was difficult to pass through, and the chairs were facing away from the door. This layout was unsettling no matter how one looked at it.
Foundation guards were trained, and even the slower ones quickly understood that the table had definitely been moved.
