The next morning,
Outside of Bright City, in the territory of Baron Tony.
The town situated atop the small hill remained unchanged from Lis's last visit, with low stone houses encircling Baron Tony's deep grey castle. Children played in the shade to escape the fiery summer sun, or cooled off in the stream at the foot of the hill.
Meanwhile, the subjects of Baron Tony were busy in the vineyards on the surrounding hills. Vibrant green grape leaves sprawled along purplish-red vines under the sunlight, with tiny white-green grape blossoms hidden amongst the foliage, embodying the people's hopes for a bountiful harvest.
Not far from Baron Tony's domain, on the crest of a hill, space twisted and a figure appeared, then blended seamlessly into the surroundings, becoming one with the environment.
The newcomer was none other than Lis, who had rushed over specifically for this visit.
