"After breaking through the orange belt level, I won't be at the bottom anymore and I'll also have the right to participate in the family sparring contest."
Bobby thought to himself in excitement but soon calmed down. The martial arts training facility had nine levels, and entry level was harder to achieve than the previous one, similar to a pyramid. Everyone knew that the first three were known as the body ranks. Fighters at this stage were also known as Marshall Learners. Marshall Learners used Force to strengthen their bodies to provide a strong foundation for later ability development. Although martial Learners were very low as they had just entered the Gateway of martial arts, to cultivate to the peak of the third orange belt level was not to be looked down upon. One would have at least 400 kgs of strength, and those born with better Talent could even have over 500 kg of strength. They could rip apart tigers and Destroy bears with their bare hands.
Although Bobby had only broken through to the second level, the yellow belt level, he had over 250 to 300 kg of strength, which was well outside the capabilities of normal people. If it was accompanied by strong Marshall skills, even dozens of normal people wouldn't be able to stop them.
"If I can reach the third level and get the orange belt and have 350 to 400 kg of force behind my attacks, my overall strength will at least double," Bobby felt in his heart. Of course, the thing that he yearned for was the fourth level, the green belt. The fourth through sixth levels of the training facility were known as the accumulation ranks. Students at that level were also known as martial artists. After entering this realm, the martial artists wouldn't just have strong body and blood, they could also strengthen their organs and use the power of inner strength, which surpassed that of pure muscle attacks. Once they reach martial artist, they would leave the realm of mundane people and enter a higher level.
Back at Belmont, Bobby had the urge to become a true martial artist, and entering the main Training Center at San Francisco, he had made this dream come one step closer. After he took the test and passed through to the orange belt level, Bobby immediately told his parents.
"Orange belt," his father said out loud, shocked to hear what his son had achieved in such a short while. As Bobby was able to reach this level at his age without the use of outside help, his mother thought that his talent could be said to be truly above average.
"All you have to do for the next 2 months is prepare for the family sparring contest. We do not need you to do extremely well, just to not lose face," his mother, Ashley, said, revealing a happy smile. For Bobby to reach the step, they were both very pleased and did not have higher expectations. However, Bobby's goals weren't restricted to just this. They wanted to become a true martial artist, maybe even reach the Pinnacle of martial arts.
"Now my status within the facility is no higher, and I have the right to enter the first floor of the martial arts Library," Bobby thought to himself as he rushed off towards the library.
"Brother Brown," a slightly shocked voice of a girl stopped him halfway. The young girl's voice had a familiar sound and felt comfortable to listen to. Bobby's body turned stiff as a boy and girl close to his own age approached him from the side. The boy, wearing purple-colored clothes almost like a scrub, had thick eyebrows with a straight tall back and sharp eyes. His skill level had reached the peak of the third Rank, and the other students around him could feel the pressure he admitted. He is the training facility's third highest rank student, Peter Cheu.
The people around them exclaimed with faces full of worry and fear. The girl that came with Peter was a young woman wearing white. She had a clear and beautiful face. "Little Jessica Park," Bobby said as he looked at the white-clothed girl, and his mouth subconsciously curled into a mocking smile. The girl in front of him was the one who entered the facility with him half a year ago, Jessica Park. Back at Belmont, Jessica was a huge fan of his. However, after they entered the main facility, they became distant from one another, and they were almost total strangers now.
After Jessica made her entry into the main facility, she quickly became good friends with Peter, using her beauty, who was ranked third out of the outer disciples, and then by using her connections, she had received her orange belt a month ago. At this moment, Musa said something to Peter in his ears. "Okay, but just do not take too long," Peter said as he nodded his head and leaned aside, not even bothering to look at Bobby.
Jessica walked in front of Bobby and in a complex manner and with a little sigh said, "Brother Bobby, you have finally become an orange belt. However, I'm going to give you some advice. Do not be too stubborn. After coming here, I've realized that the place we started at is too low compared to the people here."
"What do you want to say?" Bobby said as he interrupted her with a cold face. Jessica had a bit of anger on her face, but she still bit her teeth and said, "Bobby, I'll give you another piece of advice. Go to Peter and pledge yourself to him. With his help, only then will you avoid any problems that may arise."
"Pledge?" Bobby laughed coldly. He wouldn't pledge to anyone in his whole life. Peter had a cold aura and was extremely arrogant. Every time he saw Bobby, it was with his nose in the air as if he was too high up to bother with his existence.
Seeing Bobby's expression, Jessica immediately knew his answer. They grew up together, so she understood him very well. She walked back to Peter's side and murmured something in his ears again. "He doesn't know what's good for him, this useless garbage," Peter said in a cold voice.
"Useless garbage?" Bobby's brow furrowed, and he felt an anger boil within him. Maybe it was because he saw Bobby so unwilling, but Peter walked up to him, paused, and coldly said, "I've heard that you're the genius of Belmont. However, here you're just a little bug. We'll meet at the family sparring contest, and I'll beat you with just one move."
"You bet we will," Bobby thought to himself as he turned his back and continued on his path to the library. He didn't want to keep talking. They were bound to fight 2 months later, and the one with greater strength would win.
As Jessica's gaze passed by Bobby, it flashed ever so slightly. At this point, she felt the strange feeling from Bobby, a feeling that she couldn't understand. "He sure thinks he's good," Peter snorted, laughing ever so slightly, especially since he did not consider him to be of any competition. Among the other Town recruits, those that had entered the third level of the martial arts training facility then exceed 60 people, and to be ranked third out of these was proof enough that Peter did, in fact, have a few good tricks up his sleeve. But Jessica gave off a deep sigh in her heart as she felt that Bobby was just finding trouble for himself. She understood Peter's strength very well. He was so strong that some of the third ranks couldn't even block a single move of his.
After a short while, Bobby came to one of the training facility's most important grounds, the martial arts Library. Therefore, it had Elders guarding it. "Where do you come from, Child?" the white-clothed Elder inside the martial arts Library said as he looked at Bobby's identity plate and furrowed his brow.
"Belmont, sir," Bobby said with a polite face, as he knew the Elder's strength. From his left eye, he felt the mysterious Force coming from the Elder. It was a layer of red Aura between his blood and skin but constantly moving through his veins and could erupt at any time. Bobby knew that the white-clothed Elder had already cultivated his inner strength, his Chi, to a high degree and could destroy a hundred Bobbies in an instant. Only those that were at the fourth rank of the Marshall path or higher could have Chi. Jessica, Tom, and even Peter or martial Learners wouldn't have Chi.
Bobby bowed and said, "Elder, I want to go to the second floor of the library." "Achieving the second level at 14 years of age is average. However, before you go further, I must tell you that town recruits and City students undergo different treatment in the library," the white-robed Elder said.
When Bobby heard this, he paused a second but then thought about the new rules of the Marshall path organization and immediately said, "Elder, please go on." Bobby knew that before having absolute power, he didn't have any right to discuss the rules.
The white-clothed Elder said with an expressionless face, "Those on the second level can only enter the first floor of the library. The first floor of the library has a lot of low-ranked martial arts and a few middle-ranked ones. City students can choose two middle-ranked martial arts or four low-ranked martial arts at most, and the limit for borrowing these is 2 months. Town recruits can only choose one middle-ranked martial art or two low-ranked martial arts, and the time limit is 1 month."
After listening to the rules, Bobby took a deep breath and said, "I understand, Elder." The town recruits only had half the quantity of time that the city students had.
"Okay, you can go in now, but the time limit is half an hour," the Elder said in a soft tone. Under the white-robed Elder's guidance, Bobby slowly stepped into the martial arts Library, a place he dreamed of coming to ever since he decided to be a martial artist.
