Chapter 179 - Scheming

Bobby and Tra made their way quietly through the hidden door at the end of the hall, making sure the mechanical guards didn't notice them. They opened it and climbed down the dark, moldy staircase to the dungeon below. Bobby inspected their surroundings; his left eye knew exactly where the guards were placed. It was the most important and protected area of the castle. Tra managed to slay a few of the mechanical beasts, but he couldn't overtake the hundred situated throughout the castle. The ones guarding the safe full of treasures were the most dangerous. Given all his effort thus far, Bobby knew that if they managed to get to the treasures, Tra would never allow him to take half. But at least he had led him here.
