The power outage did not last long — this was an EMP attack, after all, and company buildings, being the storage sites for confidential information, naturally had contingencies for such a not-so-uncommon attack.
Thirty minutes later, the lights in the company building came back on. Although the flickering lights indicated unstable electricity, they had indeed turned back on.
