No wonder we hadn't encountered any formidable magicalized wild beasts earlier. Turns out the truly strong ones were hiding inside the magic stone mine.
Two magicalized pangolins blocked the passage's entrance, one facing inward and the other outward, splitting the battlefield in two.
Who knew what was happening inside the white bones pit. Outside, only Ivan, Gina, and Cooke remained. Cooke, unable to use Lightning-type magic, had stood outside during the earlier attack and now retreated with Ivan to the outer area.
"Continuous Fireballs."
After stabilizing his stance, Cooke launched a fireball attack at the magicalized pangolin whose head was facing outward. Six fist-sized fireballs assembled in formation and brilliantly flew toward the creature's eyes.
The fireballs hit their target directly, scattering sparks everywhere.
"No way! This beast's magic resistance is extraordinary."
