Just like when he had subdued the turtle in the Great Sky River before, a different kind of willpower struggle began.
However, unlike the turtle from the Star Realm, the will nurtured within this beast egg had not fully formed and was extremely fragile at this stage. Even if the black-whiskered overlord tried to infuse strength into it, he had to do so very cautiously and with low efficiency.
This was yet another instance of 'bullying the weak.'
