Director Cherie was only there to witness the event, and she left after the witnessing was complete.
Ivan also left the secret chamber with Director Narnya and entered a room resembling an office, presumably the director's office. He could see the bookshelves and desk filled with books and documents.
"Have a seat anywhere. Our organization isn't very particular. There isn't a substantial hierarchy between us. If you wish, you can transfer to Director Cherie anytime, or to someone else," said Narnya.
"I'm quite happy here," Ivan replied.
While saying this, Ivan was no fool. Switching his allegiance carelessly would indeed offend others.
In front of Narnya, he wouldn't act recklessly either. Respect for the mighty was necessary.
"In terms of treating official members, the organization is never stingy. To welcome new members, we offer some resources for free—limited to three kinds," Narnya continued.
