But just at that moment, Robbin's face suddenly changed. He pressed his body down sharply, only to see a small tree that served as cover on their path abruptly explode into a cloud of wood chips.
With a "thud," Robbin felt a tremendous force hit his abdomen, sending him flying into the air.
And with that, Robbin lost his balance and fell to the ground.
"Boss!" someone shouted out loud, then started firing madly toward the direction of the gunshots.
When Tanis saw that Robbin was the one who had been shot, his face immediately brightened with relief.
He didn't pick up the gun but instead ran wildly forward.
"Don't kill him!" Robbin yelled into his headset, then, enduring the pain in his abdomen, he bellowed, "Come back! Tanis! Come back!"
But why would Tanis listen to him at this time?
At that moment, Robbin despaired, feeling as if he could see a bullet already speeding toward Tanis' brow.
