A bar.
Robbin plopped down next to Jim, "Hey buddy, this is the first time you've invited me out for a drink since you became the chief, right?"
Jim laughed, "You know, Los Angeles has been hectic, you should be aware of what we've all been up to lately."
"Of course, the gangs in Los Angeles haven't had an easy few months." Robbin remarked as he looked at Jim, "Honestly, I once thought you could turn into a politician, but surprisingly, Jim, you haven't forgotten that you're a cop."
Jim's mouth twitched.
He knew exactly what Robbin was referring to.
The LAPD's recent crackdowns on gangs.
But Jim knew, he was just ordering the police to pick the easy targets.
"There are still plenty of innocent civilians being affected though," Jim said bitterly, "You have no idea how many complaints I've received, not to mention the pressure from above telling us to ease off."
