Jim frowned as he looked at the bodies in front of him.
Robbin stood nearby, his lips twitching, "Was there some irreconcilable hatred between them? These people were almost riddled into sprinklers by bullets."
"No kidding. I just saw a guy whose head had been chopped off and thought he had it bad, but compared to these guys, he was actually lucky," Jim said as he walked forward to an elevator shaft.
At that moment, many officers, struggling to suppress their nausea, were hoisting corpses one after the other from the shaft after gathering evidence.
"I have no idea how to break the news to their families, how they died, it's already gone viral online," Jim said with a somber expression. "Such things should not happen in this civilized country."
"And yet it's happened more than once. I might be reassigned," Robbin said, looking at Jim. "From LAPD's side, who do you think will take over this case?"
