The Los Angeles tonight is particularly desolate.
The lights in downtown are dim, the electricity system damaged by thunder and lightning won't be fixed at least for today.
There are no homeless people on the streets, because those in the downtown area have 'found' quite a bit of money and, in theory, they can afford to stay in motels tonight.
Some of the lucky ones, like Pachy, the burglar who robbed a million US Dollars, could live freely off their wealth for the next few years at least.
But now, Pachy doesn't feel good about his situation.
He had just thrown away his cell phone.
He wasn't worried the police would find him, but Pachy realized that he had become infamous.
His four brothers and several aunts, whose names he couldn't recall, called to ask how he was doing lately.
At first, Pachy was unsure whether they cared about the bounty on his head or his bank account.
