Swank held a glass of champagne in his hand as he conversed with someone beside him, when suddenly, his gaze shifted to a person in the crowd.
After exchanging a few more pleasantries with the people around him, Swank made his way towards that person.
Approaching the individual, he leaned slightly to the side and asked, "Mr. Field, sitting here doesn't seem like your style."
Field looked at the person beside him and, with a forced smile, responded, "Congressman Swank, visiting me here isn't quite your style either, is it? You are more likely to be found in every corner of this party, aren't you?"
Field's remark was actually a form of mockery. The fact that he dared to speak this way indicated he really didn't care about the Los Angeles congressman's status.
