The scythe blades shimmered with the metallic luster of bronze, their edges coated with a blood-red, deadly poison. The tips were slightly curved, reminiscent of venomous fangs of a snake, and their surfaces were covered with scale-like inscriptions.
Upon contact with air, these inscribed scales released an unruly orange-red poison mist. The speed of the mist's spread was extremely rapid, akin to a chemical factory experiencing a major leak. In no time, the orange-red mist engulfed the derelict Old Town.
