Tongtian City's Ziming Palace, located in the very central area of the entire city, was indistinguishable from an Immortal Mansion, towering majestically above the thousands of household lights, supremely imposing.
Atop the palace, a man sat on the Imperial Platform, taking in the bustling night view of Tongtian City. There was a time when he was no more than a speck of sand in the great Human City, unnoticed and looked down upon, enduring others' humiliation and oppression.
"About ten years ago, on those bustling streets, I was like a beggar," Leng Shu, sitting high on the Imperial Platform, spoke, "I asked the heavens why some people were born to live in this magnificent Ziming Palace, enjoying the service of thousands and receiving worship like Saint Buddha from hundreds of millions of citizens, while even the stray dogs on the roadside despised my flesh as foul and covered in sores?"
