As their eyes met, Zhou Qing realized for the first time that Liu Min's eyes were so clear.
"You are drunk," Zhou Qing gently stroked her hair and softly said, "I will take you home."
Liu Min snuggled obediently in Zhou Qing's arms, long since lost to intoxication. Zhou Qing lifted her by the waist; Liu Min cooperated, draping her hands around his neck, dependent as a small bird.
They hailed a cab and headed straight to Anzhou Mansion.
Upon arriving at Liu Min's home, Zhou Qing settled her on the bed, removed her outer garments, and carefully covered her with the blanket before leaving the room. Because it was very late, and also due to his concern for Liu Min, Zhou Qing did not go back to his house but slept on the couch instead.
The night passed, and daylight broke, Liu Min got up early.
The hangover left her with a headache; she sat at the head of her bed, tapping her head, trying her best to recall last night's events.
